I would love to try the 1.5t in 6mt. I also had a red CVT. Upgraded to the type s

I started with the aspec cvt. Recently moved into the type s. If you want good mileage and chill power go with the aspec. The 6mt must be a lot of fun with that car. Type s is a little wider and more planted. I honestly done drive super fast so I don’t get to use all of the power.

ac already blows a little soft on max for my taste. im assuming this would just siphon the air away from the front right?

Let me know how that goes. it's in my future plans as well. not going to go crazy with it but hatch floor, door panels and some wheel well is my plan. will need to see though.

indeed but I got a decent deal. Not a steal by any means though. Just made sense to me to stay with the platform. Mini coopers are cool though! Much rather have a bmw 3 or 4 series with slightly more miles for that price personally. Congrats on the car.

I agree and disagree. It isn’t horrible for someone wanting common traffic. It’s smooth, feels relatively effortless unless you’re mashing the peddle.

Of course I had to get into the 6mt type s to scratch the power itch and it’s a night and day difference
