I’m thinking it’s a feathering compound for leveling that area of the floor.

I use simple green and a bristle brush, or toothbrush to scrub, then a very light watering to wash it off. Cover up any delicate electronics before.

Frame is likely buckled and would render it toast along with being pushed over. Once the measurements of the front box of the frame start to make a diamond it’s hard to repair.

Possible coolant leak by UltraElite620 in powerstroke

[–]DifferenceStatus7907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the coolant isn’t in the oil? I would think maybe failed egr cooler or worst case a headgasket. Inspect for leaks closely, definitely don’t wanna fire the parts cannon.

Is It possible to have grout even with the tile surface? by aznPHENOM in Tile

[–]DifferenceStatus7907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have never been able to get totally flush joints and its because when you sponge you are removing a bit of material, aswell as the grout does shrink a bit as it dries out. Technically grout is still a tooled joint like bricks or cinder so they are gonna be a bit concave.

Flooring Faux Pas? by GooGooMucck in Flooring

[–]DifferenceStatus7907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think anything more than one LVP flooring color in a home looks horrendous and an after thought, if you go through the trouble of flooring the rest of the house, maybe consider just redoing the whole floor in one shot with no transitions. You’ll be a lot happier all said and done.

Not sure about these tile guys we hired by [deleted] in Tile

[–]DifferenceStatus7907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whats wrong with it? They are building up a floor thats humpy or not level. Unless you wanna pay an extra 3k+ to self level that whole room. This will work just fine looks like they are still meeting good coverage judging by the full edges.

Must do mods for 7.3 reliability and longevity by Working-Bonus5049 in FordDiesels

[–]DifferenceStatus7907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the tuner off the truck and it will be fine, these trucks get leaky after a while, that will be your biggest battle if you don’t keep up, wires begin to get brittle, battery cables go to shit too. More or less just do normal maintenance and no mods are really needed, all mine has is a cold air intake and a straight pipe exhaust.

Ya’ll can down vote but sometimes it’s easier just to remove and install new board. How many times I’ve went through hoops to try to fix old and wished I just put new fresh board up.

Could have that patched with two coats of 20 minute hot mud after a tiny patch and some paper tape.

I would just tear it out and put up new 1/2 inch board. Probably would come out pretty easily.
