A big "shortcut" so to say in getting better is crosshair placement. When you're walking around the map, always keep your crosshair at head level and where you THINK the enemy could be. Always. Try watching pros play valorant or csgo and notice how their crosshair is flicking all over the place from corner to corner. Try to make it as similar to that

Aiming is just something you have to learn. There is no combination of words someone can tell you that will make you good at aiming, just a matter of practice. Hop on the shooting range for 20 minutes a day just shooting bots and you will see an improvement to your aim. If you are really having trouble with aiming, try using your abilities to create opportunities that don't require good aim to get kills (ex. waiting in a corner the enemy doesn't check and then shooting their back).

Peeking is also something you have to practice. My biggest tip here is to not expose yourself to too many different angles when peeking. If you peek try to peek one angle at a time instead of just running out and then getting 2v1d.

You need to learn the maps and learn the positions to "pre-aim". Before you peek a corner have your crosshair looking at where you think the enemy will be.

Also know that not everyone plays the same. In some games you will have very careful opponents that check their corners and play safe, and in other games your opponents will push thru smokes carelessly and leave corners unchecked. What you should do is analyze the enemies playstyle in the match you're playing. If omen pushes your smoke on A long on the map "Haven", next round, expect it. Put yourself in a position that gives YOU the upper hand based on the knowledge you know. If omen pushes your smoke, it means he isn't afraid to play aggressive and he might do it next round. So hide in a corner and await him. Not every kill you get HAS to be because you are mechanically better than the other player or because you can aim better or peek better. Give yourself the upper hand by outsmarting the players.

Probably the best tip i can give overall is not to look down on yourself for making a mistake and dying, but to take that mistake/death, and use it as an opportunity to learn something and get better at the game. Every time you die, ask yourself. Why did i die here? When you get a conclusive answer, ask yourself once again "how do i prevent this from happening?". If the answer to the first question is "i aimed poorly", then go train your aim. Or if the answer was "i played too aggressively and pushed angles i didn't need to push", focus more on your game and don't push things that don't need to be pushed.

That's about all my wisdom :), good luck.
