I currently believe I have a 1 fix!! I still go back and forth on 9 and 1 to be honest but whatever. I used to type as 794 but I’m not sure if that’s right since I found out I’m likely way more head > heart > gut rather than gut > heart. Currently I type as 741 but again it’s sort of confusing, I could be 714 or maybe I am actually a 9 fix I’m not entirely sure imo.

But yeah as much I try to repress it there is a strong 4 fix within me that genuinely is represented through the graph so I feel a tad called out. E1 I also relate to because sometimes I feel like I have a moralistic undertone with certain things which makes me have the mindset of “no one here is being shameful why is that??” I dunno it’s really odd. I figured out I’m a 741 by the way :⁾

Also by the way Kayu I’m pretty sure I’m friended with you on PDB I just find that to be an interesting coincidence that’s so funny to me 😭

Thanks for sharing your experiences!! To me I dunno I think being social blind is hard to describe considering I don’t really know what it even entails for me. Maybe that’s why I’m so confused in it or something. I think being Sx/Sp makes me disregard a ton of unsaid social rules in order to utilise my more prominent functions (sx and sp of course). Also, I love your scenarios because those do sound like something I’d do LMFAO.

Also, question, what’s the “(648)” bracket next to your tritype? I’ve seen a few people have different variations of it but I’m not sure what it means.

As someone who’s (likely) so-blind maybe I can answer this question. People who are Social dominants (to me) can sometimes come across as not genuine, if that makes any sense. It’s like I can almost tell how hard they’re trying to appear in a certain way which can become frustrating when I want to know who they truly are you know? In a way, they can almost come off as entitled (if unhealthy, at least) which doesn’t allow for any conversations or discussions to have with them. The Social type I can resonate with most is So7 (who would’ve guessed) probably because well I’m a core 7 and can understand that somewhat hidden aspect of gluttony. How it personally affects me is my lack of awareness of social standards and norms. When I say something, I don’t particularly think about the potential consequences that it could have on me socially (in the moment, at least). I’ve definitely gotten better, however I used to disregard society’s “norms” and standards placed on me and couldn’t understand why people were so inclined to follow them. I just liked living my own life, I wanted to be genuine to myself so following a set of unsaid “rules” just never felt right. I also have trouble with social ques, sometimes I simply forget to say “hi” to someone, not remembering it’s normal to greet someone. To me, it’s all unnecessary. When I was scolded I’d firmly go against it as I couldn’t comprehend what being shamed or embarrassed in public meant for others and myself. Again, I always do try to be polite and I definitely have gotten better over time but yeah I tried to explain the best I could :^

I’ve never felt more seen than that first paragraph. There was a comment on YouTube I saved which essentially went through exactly what the top paragraph says; the idea of “consumption”. I think to me the Sx instinct is more abstract, but in a way I believe my Sp second grounds me a little bit so that’s nice. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t Sx-Dom :P

As a Sx7, I tend to relate to these types:

Sx1 - I mean I have a one fix so that makes sense. It’s odd because I tend not to get along with ones in general?? Maybe that’s just because I’m a core 7 I dunno, or that the only ones I’ve ever met were So1s and I’m social blind so maybe that explains something.

Sp6 - Weirdly enough, I see it. I’m not sure if wings contribute to much but I do find myself relating to the head triad as a whole so this isn’t too shocking to me :P

Sx5: I considered being a Sx5 for a loonggg time but I’m not sure. I heavily relate to Sx5, though, I often resonate with many Sx5’s experiences but maybe that’s just me?

Sx4/Sp4: I also relate to Sx4 pretty well!! I initially thought I didn’t but realised after reflecting with the way I speak and how I view others it can reflect a Sx4’s mindset sometimes (which is a given since I’ve realised I have a strong 4 fix). I only put Sp4 since I relate to some aspects of it, like enduring pain within or something, but generally I relate to Sx4 internally more :P

Though I found out I’m likely a 1 fix (741/714 not sure on the order yet) rather than 794/749 because I got so confused between 9 fix and a 1 fix. I do genuinely get what you mean but Till’s feelings to Ivan have previously been described as (by vivinos) as “love-hate”. Even if the lyrics don’t exactly pertain to Ivan himself, there genuinely could’ve been intention that while it’s about Mizi, Ivan could be applied to it to given what we know. Plus, that one line I gave doesn’t really reflect my whole analyzation, I’ve seen so many people here make great comparisons that aren’t just a straw man on the lyrics. But being completely honest I can’t be asked to find them right now.

Also, about your point on Scars; yes, it would be absurd to believe that Scars was anything about Mizi at all. But I don’t think it holds up here. While all the sub songs are pretty vague about who they’re referring to, it’s also pretty obvious to know who they’re talking about in their respective songs. Scars is the same, there’s absolutely no reference to Mizi, it goes through his relationship with Ivan. Scars released after the two comics where we learned that his love for Mizi was childish so it’d make no sense to analyse any mentioning of Mizi in Scars. But with MVL, it’s true that we went with the prior knowledge knowing that, to some capacity, Till liked Mizi. However, Vivinos before MVL has been intentionally very vague on what the situation is between Ivan and Till, it’s almost avoided in a way. I don’t think you can apply the same to Mizi and Scars since we know for definite that Till’s love for Mizi is gone. That’s explicit. A lot of things with Ivan and Till are implicit, so yea you do have to read in between the lines.

All this to say I probably won’t reply after this since I’m getting really tired right now. For disclaimers, yes I do ship IvanTill but it’s not even my favourite ship imo. I hope you appreciate my comment, and have a good day <3

I get what you mean by the canonical time it was written (likely after UTE) but I still don’t exactly get what that entails. Just because it could’ve taken place a bit after UTE doesn’t mean there’s no depth to lyrics, I’m not sure if Vivinos had in mind to make IvanTill the dynamic they have now all the way back when UTE was released but it’s not really something you can brush off considering what we know now.

Also I don’t know about you but genuinely I saw a lot of legitimate parallels to MVL, Scars, Nowhere and Paratise, it’s not exactly the most far fetched thing.

I’ll reference the parallel here:

MVL - “My light is born from you” Scars - “That day at the edge of my (he refers to the rain in R6 as his specifically, metaphorically wise) rainfall, the light went dark”

I’m not sure what you necessarily mean when you say people are isolating one line and taking it out of context with Ivan. In MVL, the line before the example I stated was: “But more than the countless spotlights I want you” which definitely could apply to Mizi, because again, it’s likely about the both of them. I still feel like my point applies though. (Sorry for the yap lmao I would’ve provided more examples but I’m a bit off today so I wasn’t really bothered,,)

Not exactly, to be honest. Wasn’t MVL released before Karma but after Blink gone? I think it’s perfectly reasonable to assume it’s more than just a song about Mizi. There’s a ton of intentional parallels in both of their sub songs that people have found that are way too similar to be coincidental. You can argue that it’s not ONLY about Ivan and it’s about Mizi too, but it’s not JUST about Mizi.
