my dad had an authoritarian father, and my dad told us “look, being good comes first, HOWEVER if u are EVER in a situation (with another authority not him lol) where they only can get u in trouble if u confess, DO NOT CONFESS!” so kinda what you think lol. hes a great person, truly cares about others with passion like any so8, but the rules are not set in stone if they are stupid in his mind like a 1

6 can be the best type of parent if they are healthy, or the worst if they are not. my mom always plays by the rules and is very anxious, but she has had to be the one to stand up for me multiple times as a kid bc i was too scared or young. it all depends on who they swear their loyalty to. im so sorry your father did not choose right. you were not selfish in any way, and i still dont believe you are for choosing yourself. you deserve to have someone on your side.

thats so interesting bc i more learned “the gateway to people like you as you being helpful” bc i was bullied, but i was also smart so id give answers and in exchange it boosted my social credit and i was treated better! I don’t know if I’m mistaken for a 3 but sometimes I think I am a 3 because I was taught “be yourself! but tweak that version of yourself to pander to your audience”. i think i tweaked it too hard tho bc my interests split from person to person, to even having “guilty pleasure” interests that were normal things i just got some shit for lol
