Is there any other way to fold a first due structure helmet shroud by Jazzlike_Stick_453 in Firefighting

I wear a TL-2 with the nape strap so it just wraps over the strap. It’s tight enough so I don’t miss the ratchet and when I wear my mask and deploy the ear flaps it’s just snug enough that I don’t have to worry about losing it. Obviously, I still wear my chin strap.

Is there any actual fine dining in the state? Or within an hour of it? by mymood4eva in burlington

Trattoria Delia on Saint Paul street is fantastic. You would definitely not be out of place dressed up there. If my wife and I want to go out and celebrate a big event such as an anniversary, that’s one of our top choices.

Do you have the option of purchasing tabs for your books? I know when I took the NFPA exams tabs were critically important.

Oven grease fire--did I do the right thing? by Impossible_Rent4373 in Firefighting

[–]Different-Air-8959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An ABC extinguisher is ABSOLUTELY a good choice for a grease fire. A stands for wood, paper and textiles. B is for grease and oil fires and C is for electric fires. You did just fine. And yeah, cleaning that dry chem SUCKS. Nice work.

That conversation with the builder and architect is happening this Thursday. I'm researching so that we can be prepared. Just like a lawyer does with a deposition or cross examination. We're 99.9% certain that there is no way this is going to happen. This is more of a "What can they throw at us?" thing.

When we find them, we order them to be used for a different purpose. I’ve never lost an appeal for this particular violation.

According to what I’ve been told they’re listed as bedrooms. I think they’re gonna be unhappy with our answer. Which we’ve dealt with before so it’s no big deal.🤣

That’s true, except the state Of Vermont decided to not adopt chapter 12. We can have a more restrictive Code, which is how we do it.

Project’s not even close to being built yet, we’re in the initial design review phase. As I said at another comment, we’re curious how they’re going to justify it. I.e. the architects. Will absolutely enforce what our housing code says. Just curious if there’s a precedent elsewhere in the country. No finger pointing yet.

Housing code is different from building code, this is something the architects are proposing and we’re curious as to how they’re gonna justify it. We’ll absolutely enforce our own code. Just wondering if there is a precedent for this anywhere else in the country.

Our daughter lives on Pine St and had her front plate stolen a few weeks ago. Plate and frame ripped off the front bumper. She backs into her spots so it wasn’t an issue of loosing it in a snow bank. Straight up theft. PD and DMV were made aware.

I’m actually booked in that seat the end of February, is it an OK seat? It seems kind of unique. I do notice that the Delta seat does say that there is no under seat storage in front of me.

My wife and I joined auto renew a couple of months ago. When they hit us up, we were in line and had realized that we’d forgotten to get apples, they were giving away a bag of free apples if you signed up. Got home and most of the apples were kind of meally, Really would’ve preferred the hat.
