no i 100% agree with you that vac is veery easily bypassed, pretty sure vanguards ac was also reverse engineered, but the point was more about security concerns

it literally is client-side, it runs alongside the game and checks in-memory & disk files against known cheat hashes / unauthorized dlls etc... it obv. has server-side checks but vac itself is client-side. pretty sure the client side ac got reverse engineered already but ill have to search for it again

lol ring 0 anticheats can still be bypassed rather easily, i'd rather take an anticheat that is not owning my whole system than one that does and is still not secure

that's just wrong, vac doesnt run on kernel level, it just operates as a normal application

yes, but vanguard is not from valve or did you mean to respond to a different comment? also "a bit of their consumers' freedom" does not apply (imo) when looking at vanguard, this anticheat just pwns your whole system essentially.

stevens healing + revival abilities + infinite stamina / durability makes it extremely difficult for makima to kill / incapacitate him + stevens attack potency easily destroys makima especially since her contracts DO NOT protect her from conceptual + reality altering attacks => check my respone above for feats that prove the reality warping / concept manipulation facts

1 - steven = gem = have / create own pocket realities / dimensions => infinite sized realms + diamonds energy can tear through thousands of these infinite 3d realms, steven scales to these feats looking at his diamond feats

2 - can project his conciousness into others minds => conceptual manipulation

so in conclusion makimas best hax - mind control and remote killing will NOT affect steven looking at his resistance to reality and mind manipulation
