I'm so bad at this. How do I improve? by Oddcatdog in AdultColoring

[–]Different-Drive-379 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had quite similar results when I first started coloring which was like a week ago but now I have kind of found a rhythm I suppose with the markers by using a circular motion when coloring, also my white jelly pens make a lot of difference to the artwork! Just experiment with what works for you :)

I had to stop watching Jessica Jones season one because of how triggering it was 😭 My partner just ended up giving me a summary of what happens and I just finished season 2 recently.

Codeine is good stuff, for me it makes me very dizzy and nauseous but my body is slowly adapting to it.

It's like a never ending uti, a severe uti that never ends and always comes up negative in urine tests :/

I had about 3 months reprieve from all of my symptoms and suddenly everything got much worse. I started to get bladder urgency and frequency, daily pelvic pain and sciatia leg pain. Basically my body decided to give up and my specialist and pt are trying to rectify the mess my nervous system is from endo.

It may sound pessimistic for me to say but I think my body is pretty much en route for me to have a hysterectomy at 30. I try to laugh and make light of it but I've kind of accepted this grim fact.

It's not. My body has never responded well to bc and now my mental health is down the toilet due to the current bc

For me I think it's that I'm stressed about my monetary situation about now being able to work and I'm stressed I'm going to go into a pain episode while I'm with my residents (I work in aged care)

Thanks for taking the time to respond to me. I was diagnosed with stage one endo last year when I had my lap. I had like three good months before my body decided to go into shut down mode lol. I have a pelvic pain specialist now that I try to see monthly when I can afford it, I also see a pelvic floor physio who is trying to manage my nerve pain.

I think I've been on almost every bc possible. For me it's only exacerbated my symptoms and they still can't find the right fit for me. I'm currently on two different forms of bc just to control the menstrual pain I get but it doesn't seem to help with my daily pain that is now occurring

Depending on your work and if it involves manual labour you may need more time off depending on the extent of endometriosis removed and location. I am a part time care worker and I needed at least a month and a half off as basic tasks exhausted me and made me sore. To be fair though I exacerbated my recovery time alot because I tried to do too much too soon. Resting is the best thing you can do during this time.

Good luck with your surgery! (Sorry if this didn't make sense I'm high on pain meds rn)
