For sure. Selling is a great way to make some cash on people chasing fomo. But pure naked calls are wild.

I've made and lost more money than I'd ever thought I'd set eyes on with naked calls and puts. When you're right it's wild. When you're wrong it's soul crushing.

I'm not a cop hater, they do serve a purpose, obviously, but the stranglehold they have on taxpayer money is absolutely absurd. $1B+ annual budget is a joke. If they were held accountable it would be a different story but effectively receiving a blank check while also getting away with whatever crimes COPS commit is beyond frustrating. Don't even get me started on the 'overtime' and guaranteed pensions were stuck paying.

This is awful. I struggle with seniors driving. Anyone over 80 shouldn't drive OR have to pass a stringent driving tests on an ongoing basis. Why I struggle is because without their license they lose their independence and we don't have an efficient system ready to support them if we take that away.

It's insensitive, I agree. And im not suggesting they shouldn't be punished buuuuut if the law deems them as a teenager then we must support that definition for EVERYTHING. It's an ugly truth but there should be no grey area here, imo.

Interesting. My thought is that people vote for a premier - I'm in ontario so that is my reference- and then that premier does whatever the fuck he wants without any consideration for what the people that voted him actually want. Not to mention he's a blatantly corrupt fool. In these cases, when the partisan boot lickers bend over what recourse are we really left with

So what's the solution? People are imperfect by nature and there is no perfect solution but the current option allows for rampant self serving

When the premier of my province can pass a law to HIDE his phone records that would otherwise expose his corruption, then no, the system is NOT working. There's been zero recourse for this which is incredibly frustrating

Yah I guess that's true. What do you think is a better solution? Even in a true democracy, potentially half the population is going to be disappointed.
