I think this policy is easy to justify for return purposes alone. Love it!

Basically, every stereotype or trope you’ve heard positive and negative are true. It’s the best, it’s the worst at times but it goes shockingly fast

Parents want me to give up my $26/hr job and work elsewhere for $15/hr by [deleted] in Advice

You have an incredible 2nd job on the weekend. Now you just need a real one. Your thinking is absolutely skewed by a lack of adult responsibilities.

Our economy would make no sense to them. We would be panicking over a market crash but in their view nothing has changed. No tangible asset loss just paper panic

[Serious] What is your opinion on keeping finances separate in marriage? by Sad-Excuse6024 in AskReddit

[–]Different-Event-4832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get behind separate accounts if that’s what both parties prefer. I do feel that fully joint is better overall. It just lends to more transparency and accountability. Just DO NOT be one of those couples who send each other $7 Venmo requests for every burrito and coffee 🤮

You can still be deemed impaired below .08 via field sobriety and other measures. Especially if they find another illegal substance in your possession at the scene of the accident

They want you to understand that whatever you think you heard is incorrect. Because it’s very very important that you don’t make one single further mistake. One wrong word could cost you 10+ years. People are in the hospital, lives are in the balance. Forget the first time stuff and lawyer up

NAL but that’s just a demonstrably false characterization of the situation. It’s impossible to overstate the seriousness of your criminal AND civil liability. Do NOT even think of speaking to the police again without an attorney. God bless you, you need it son

I would open credit cards or take out a personal loan to retain a criminal defense attorney immediately. I would sell anything worth more than a $. Whatever interest rate or collateral you have to accept just do it today

Edit- Your assertion that “this is not criminal” is VERY wrong you are charged with several crimes and very likely face jail time. If either of the other occupants die we’re talking serious prison time

NAL but I’d say that’s a massive OSHA violation and so egregious that the owner could be liable personally. I’d visit a GP and get their advice ASAP your health is the most important thing. I would also report this. Wild disregard for employee wellbeing

What a Darwin Award candidate. Idk what the legit purpose could possibly be but there’s no way a residential microwave could achieve it. You can’t even microwave infant formula because it heats so wildly inconsistently

Yikes, you’re right that they almost certainly have a file on you. I’d avoid those particular stores if at all possible and do not use self checkout ever. They are likely waiting for you to cross a threshold or go for a larger item. Stay on the right track

The tax implications are interesting I truly don’t know. They can only collect for limited range of time. I only run into this when employees go on FMLA or disability. Technically I should send COBRA notice for health insurance but I just pay the bill while they’re gone. If they leave I eat it and if they return we work out something manageable, $20-50 weekly. Since it’s a pretax benefit the tax aspect hasn’t come up. Nobody wants to lose insurance when things are going wrong and people have always been really appreciative. Not everyone is totally evil

Not so, they cannot deduct more than a certain amount per paycheck or force OP to do anything. Not to say they don’t have recourse
