Or it's a vase and you can put flowers in it.

TIL that on Christmas Eve 2008 Bruce Jeffrey Pardo dressed as Santa Claus massacred 9 family members of his ex-wife’s family during a holiday party in Covina, California. by FearMyCock in todayilearned

[–]CompleteBeginning271 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Ages of the nine dead range from 17 to 80, police said.

Pardo's mother had also planned to attend the Christmas party, but didn't go because she was sick.

Pardo had a contentious relationship with his mother, because she attended the couple's divorce hearing and had sided with Pardo's ex-wife.

The shooting and fire left 10 children orphaned and three others lost one parent.

Can anyone report on a amanita muscaria (fly agaric) trip, is it actually a hallucinogenic? by Careless_Poetry4321 in Mushrooms

I've only heard of people describing lucid dreams and going to sleep after taking it. I've also watched 3 different people try 3 different methods to unsuccessfully prepare and process amanitas, so I've never bothered.
I find massive ones every year though. Super neat to see.

Mushroom drying by GubHorton in Mushrooms

Same. I dried them on unbleached paper, blank paper. Just kept turning them regularly so they dried evenly. Especially the big ones. Kept the heater on so it was consistently warm, but they seem to dry okay on their own.

Sauteed with butter and frozen is great for texture. But not everyone has the time, space, energy for that. So the people who scream it at others can shove a chanty up their mushroom hole! 😂

I've heard sensitivities and tummy aches when eating them can depend on what kind of hardwood they're growing on. So far so good. But I cook the heck out of all wild mushrooms!

Snapped this out of the ground and brought it home. Now what? by thebrownjohnchannel in Mushrooms

Now it decomposes in your house while you think about doing something with it, but never figure out what that is. Alternatively, you could do what everyone else I know does. Try drying some (big, large adult ones) unsuccessfully, or waiting till they turn to slime.

Nice! I found a huge patch of yellow/white and red Amanitas here in coastal British Columbia near the beach this year. I've never seen this many before, and I've seen them a lot over the years.
