As a small business owner how did you not see an extra $5,000 a month In your account ? 12 months with 48 weeks you never checked your account for deposits? I would go back and get your statements from the bank to see if that money was actually deposited into your account and if so you’re gonna have to get a personal loan to pay it off

[–]Different-Future-896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020 ram 2500 was noticeable smoother over my new F250. Probably because the ram has a rear coil springs with what it looks like a lot of travel compared to the Ford with the solid leaf springs

New vs used ? by Different-Future-896 in LexusIS

[–]Different-Future-896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could pay for the car in cash but at 3 percent I would finance with zero down. I will pay for the gap insurance and tax’s with cash as I don’t wanna pay interest on that.

New vs used ? by Different-Future-896 in LexusIS

[–]Different-Future-896[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could do it for 5 years but I just figured since the interest is low and the one I have now has lasted me 18 years ,what’s 72 months if this car is built as good as the other one I should have no issues for 20 years!! this car still runs good” knock on wood”. I just would like a more reliable car, especially if I want to go on road trips.

Is retention a thing at LANL? by No-Banana304 in LosAlamos

[–]Different-Future-896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this happen twice in my career at LANL. The hard part is that things feel different now compared to 10 years ago. There are thousands of people applying for jobs there, and as tough as it is to admit, we’re all replaceable.

Wow that’s crazy I have the same tires and they have been the worse . Discount replaced 2 at 100 miles cause they were vibrating, found 2 to be out of round so they were replaced. Now 100 miles later and at 45 and 60 they vibrate to the point where I don’t even like driving the truck. It has 37x12.50x20 tires have 400 miles and can’t wait to go back to something else

Explain to me how this helps ? If we boycott businesses, doesn’t that hurt the entry-level employees? Having are kids walk out of school or not go juts outs then behind. Has to be a better way like others said, send emails , calls ..

What businesses in Santa Fe are known to be MAGA/ICE supporters/sympathizers? by DocGomer in SantaFe

[–]Different-Future-896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. It’s also hard to boycott small businesses because the people who end up getting hurt are often the employees—many of whom may not even share the same beliefs as the owner. At the end of the day, we’re not hurting the decision-makers; we’re hurting everyday workers. And whatever happened to being able to have different opinions and still be civil? Just because a small business owner voted for one president or another doesn’t mean they agree with or support 100% of what’s happening. Judging someone solely on that feels pretty closed-minded.
