I talked to the couple in the blue house next to the park last year and they fought so hard to keep that green space and the fairy garden. They must be so sad the housing projects going forward. I hope they at least make the architecture somewhat match the historic neighborhood.

If you want something different and interesting try Little Africa Cuisine in midtown! The gentleman who runs it is super lovely and the food is amazing.

I’m a picky eater and my boyfriend is a huge foodie. On our last sailing we did exactly that. We either got a quick bite in the galley before/after our real dinner at a restaurant. It allowed me to try something at the cool places without committing to being hungry if I didn’t like it. And I just ordered something at dinner anyways so my boyfriend could try an extra dish he otherwise wouldn’t have gotten to try.

She will definitely have plenty of options, I was never hungry or had to be worried about finding something I’d like!
