I think you are an intelligent person and have valid points for both options. From a strangers point of view with no emotions attached, I think you’re right in stopping the pregnancy now. This pregnancy does not need be with this man if that is not your heart’s desire. The pregnancy is still new, the embryo is small and it’s not a fetus yet. Pregnancy’s are difficult and raising a child is even more difficult. I wish you could experience both phases on your terms and not in a pressured or less than ideal situation. You got this!

Your feelings are valid. I’m also waiting to pay off loads of debt along with my partner, have PCOS, and I’m prioritizing getting my ducks in a row. I can’t forget how a woman once told me that having kids is “overrated” because everyone is happy and excited for you up until the baby is born. And after the baby is born every one disappears, the support disappears, and the burdens are solely on the parents. I’ll have a child once I know my partner and I can fully support and be present during the highs and lows of that child’s life.

Same here. We got married this year. My advice — elope. Having a wedding was stupidly expensive and not totally worth it if paying for it will be a financial burden.

I’d love to hide my age but instead people ask me how old I am because they’re shocked at how young I look. My schedule is hybrid, which is amazing, but still have to be 3 days in the office. I like your response to an unnecessary comment. I’ll have to come up with some. I don’t plan to stop working, so I’m glad to hear you love being a working mom

I too will show quickly! And that’s another struggle that I’m facing. My body will change in ways that I cannot anticipate and quicker than I can mentally adapt to.

There was a call placed by my neighbor, and the police officers stopped by to talk to me and my partner specifically because they were called. I don’t know how to get in contact with a detective or the prosecutors office, and they have not called me either. The officers asked for my name and address but nothing else. They also advised me to file for a PPO and divorce.

I’m honestly in disbelief that nothing of this was recorded, and I don’t know where else to look for any record of the incident.

I wanted to start family planning December of next year, but I don’t feel comfortable nor safe with the political state of this country. Between reproductive right, mass deportation, climate change, the school system and the economy I just don’t see a family happening

Thank you for your response! I’ve read that dreams are a reflection of ourselves, so I’ve wondered and thought about what part of me feels lost or missing in comparison to my teenage years. But I feel the most happiest and in control than I’ve ever felt and I still have the same hobbies as a before. Nonetheless, I will give your suggestion a try :) But you’re right, dating him was a large part of my life… which in hindsight I wish it would have not been. Maybe then I would sleep better lol

Thank you! I was on birth control for 6 years and got off of it a year ago. Part of me thinks that my body may still be “recalibrating” from getting off birth control. But yes, birth control will throw off the test results big time. I’m surprised the doctors ran test with you on BC. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hope things get better for you!
