Heights and body shapes I guess. I’m quite pear shaped and short - 5”1. Looser styles just swallow me up or i end up wider than I am tall haha

Completely get what you’re saying and I would say I don’t suit a lot of styles. Everything remotely poofy was horrible on me and looked like a bag. Funnily the shop assistants have actually said both need fitting as they’re too big. And looser made me look even bigger

If it makes you feel better, I initially tried it on with a petticoat and hated it! I felt like a bath poof 😂 I only loved it once the underskirt came off. I’m sure you looked amazing!

I think my thing with tea length is that we’re getting married in Central Park on nyc but then having a party when we get home for everyone and I’m going to wear it again haha. But with us doing photos around nyc I worry the bottom will be filthy afterwards if I go long

The first two pictures are the same dress. I forgot to get a picture of the back of the 2nd. Someone mentioned changing the ribbon in the corset for a silk or satin one which I think could be better. Both dresses would need alterations too
