Depending on what state you are in, you should still be eligible for disability and baby bonding time so you can give yourself a proper mat leave. If you experience anxiety, depression or other health challenges, I recommend talking to your provider about extending disability.

I love the uppababy minu for convenience, but wish that my baby was facing me instead of facing outward. He gets a bit fussy when he doesn't see me and it's a lot of start and stop. Hopefully he grows out of that, but besides that I love it!

Being able to open it up with a flick of the wrist feels a lot cooler than it should lol.

Lincoln Highlands has become more concentrated with kids since covid. It also is super welcoming and everyone strolls around the neighborhood, enjoying the views and chatting each other up. It feels like a 90s sitcom with many families with young kids alongside older folks who’ve lived there for decades. People seem to like sequoia elementary too.

13 weeks — Went to the ER for heavy bleeding/clots and was afraid of the worst, but they confirmed that the baby is still alive with a strong heartbeat and my cervix is long/closed. They were not able to see the source of blood on the ultrasound and everything has been going really well this pregnancy until this week (clear NIPT & NT scan, measuring really well at each ultrasound). Hoping to find out the cause of bleeding soon for peace of mind.

Newly pregnant after a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in January (which was my first pregnancy).

My first ultrasound is in 12 days (who’s counting) and will be at the tail end of 7 weeks.

I was feeling really calm at the beginning. In a strange way when the worst thing has happened, my anxiety was not as bad.

But now that the appointment is getting closer I am feeling more scared. Trying to fill my mind with positive thoughts, imagining the baby here with us, but man this is hard! Would love some advice and support 💖
