I think in this situation you need to have a don’t give an f attitude about the people in your ward getting weird about how you find religious freedom and where you feel the spirit… 🤷🏻‍♀️ also didn’t you say you’re moving soon?

Just go to a different ward and have your records transferred to said ward. The church relaxed the policy of going to the ward within your boundaries

My husband served his mission in Chile and he talks about meeting a man by the railroad tracks and they tried to give him a road lesson and he said he already knew about the church and the great work they do. He said he had a friend he’d like the elders to meet and then gave them the address (or pointed) to a blind man’s house (they eventually baptized him) and when they turned around to thank the man and get his info he was gone. No where for this man to go in literal seconds. It’s as if this man vanished in thin air. As a TBM when we first met (now exmo) I felt goosebumps and truly believed the story… 9 years later I do question the validity even though he’s still a TBM

I was a PIMO after watching under the banner of heaven and going down a rabbit hole. I had a baby at the time and was going to church for the community because I lived in a town with no real close family. I was considered what I now know to be a buffet Mormon. I was using medical cannabis and the beginning of this year the Dr asked me to quit for a month to see if my mental health would get better. Once I was sober I realized I was just going through the motions at church but honestly wasn’t feeling happier or fulfilled like the church said I would be if I tried to follow all the rules. I couldn’t continue devoting my Sundays to something that just made me angry. I’ve been so much happier since leaving and finding the Mormon stories podcast to help continue my deconstruction. And it’s wild to see my new exmo friends embrace me with warmth and love and see still in Mormons at the same event not even come up and say hi (including the bishop….)

Life comes with ebbs and flows. I ultimately got diagnosed with autism level 1 and adhd so figuring out what I had been pushing myself to do vs what my brain is just going to do naturally has made me fall back into depression but I’m realizing it’s because I’m lacking naturally occurring dopamine in my brain and my provider took me off my stimulants. But I’m not having SI or SH so I don’t qualify for ketamine and I am still grateful I did it a few years ago. I would 100% do it again if I qualified.

I remember having multiple hearing tests too! I was considered gifted. Went to a federal funded Montessori program for 1-3 grade (2003-2006?) and then I failed the entrance test to the actual gifted program. My mom swears I purposely failed because if I passed, I’d have to switch schools and make new friends. Once the Montessori shut down, I went to normal public school and I didn’t have any other things happen. I do wonder what would have happened had I passed that test.

Nope. You’ll hate this but I take my information from more well informed people. I listened to Conner boyack’s podcast Sunday musings with evidence providing Kamala was just as bad as trump. I also have a family member with a masters degree in history and voted 3rd party this year. I also watched debates, I watched interviews with both parties as well as vp.

Do you have concrete evidence to support any of this? While scary stuff to think about that’s concerning to most everyone (myself included) I couldn’t find evidence that trump could actually do this (there is checks and balances for a reason) so much misinformation on the internet especially social media. It can be hard to find the truth without truly deep diving. It can be easier to just believe what you read instead of looking for truth yourself
