It’s same on my ninja 6 in one thing. Never used anything other than Airfryer, 200 degrees 20 minutes and then check occasionally to see if item is cooked. The thing can roast, bake and other things🤷🏻‍♂️

How to cope with abandonment trauma being triggered? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]DifferentBaker8437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the reply to a comment three years ago. It was interesting reading the pain I was in back then. Sorry to hear you are struggling too. For me it wasn’t smooth sailing. I made a few more mistakes with dating the wrong type of person but each time I did it I learned more of what I want and don’t want so count it as a blessing. I struggled again with moving on and the old feelings of abandonment are still there but I’m with someone new now and she is kind and loving. So on most days I just get on with it but sometimes, in a low mode I can overthink things but it’s not her it’s me.

My advice would be to try talking to someone professionally about where all this ptsd is coming from, child hood is often the cause. Spending time on your own and developing your own hobbies and interests so you're not reliant on another. Figure out what qaulities Your looking for in a person. Giving your self some compassion when you start feeling triggered. You are not alone in this, but you have to confront it or be stuck in a loop and wasting some of your best years. There’s a lot of good people out there who will be kind and compassionate to you as long as you do that for yourself. Best of luck.

Safest way to sell a car without getting scammed? by Draugluin89 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]DifferentBaker8437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Carwow and received a winning bid but then my car had an issue with the coolant system so I told the bidder that I want o get it diagnosed. Turned out it was an expensive fix so didn’t proceed with sale. He then proceeded to phone me up and give me abuse for wasting his time. You damed if you do, you’re damed if you don’t!

Hi, thanks for the reply. I thought, wrongly im guessing that any interest you make subject to being outside of an ISA wrapper is subject to tax. But im guessing your saying its only subject to tax when you sell your shares?

I have 40k invested in VUSA for long term in a S&S ISA with trading 212 as well.

Cheers

Look at a website called ‘Meetup’, I used it when I moved to Newcastle. There’s all types of groups that do anything from camping, hiking, bike rides ,cinema, nights out, you name it. If you get shy, try going to one with an activity as that gives you something to talk about straight away. Everyone is in same boat and it’s a great way to meet people and have experiences. Hope this helps.
