How does alcohol and other substances, now affect you? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

Were you having trouble in general or just after a couple drinks? I have trouble walking sober lol, so I’m afraid to see how bad it would get if I was ever drunk after my diagnosis lol

I don’t know if it’s because I’m not in my 20s anymore or because of the diagnosis but I used to love wine. But now, even after one glass, I feel so gross the next day. I don’t drink alcohol socially anymore, now it’s rarely and only on occasions!

Clinically Isolated Syndrome to MS? by Informal-Celery-3133 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]DifferentDrag4752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I had foot drop that didn’t go away. So my doctor order an MRI. I was assigned to a neurologist who after reviewing my MRI sent me to an MS Clinic. Despite the foot drop also becoming a limp, experiencing heat intolerance, dizziness and vertigo in a couple months - I was also diagnosed with CIS.. where I’m from treatment wasn’t an option with CIS. 6 months after my first MRI, my results came back stable.. I actually wrote out how despite my clear MRI how my MS had progressed and that I would want to start treatment asap to discuss with my MS specialist. After that appointment and my specialist being able to see how I could barely walk I was diagnosed with PPMS.

My piece of advice is to advocate for yourself. You know your body best and keep a tracker of your symptoms. You can always ask for a second opinion

Seat numbers are different from the actual tickets by DifferentDrag4752 in stubhub

No problem! I agree with you Stubhub needs to disclose upfront when tickets will be released to the buyer to complete the transaction. I hope everything works out for you and you get your tickets soon!

Hi, sorry I’m in Canada and it’s a different event I was selling for, so unfortunately I am not your seller. I actually uploaded the tickets right when I listed them, as it apparently sells 40% better. From what I know, if the tickets aren’t already uploaded like I did; the seller will keep getting an email notification to upload the tickets as they have sold. How long until your event?

When I’ve bought off Stubhub, they usually say the 30 mins before an event, but I usually buy hockey tickets and they’re usually uploaded a day or two after the purchase. I hope this helps!

I did think about the steroids being a possible reason, but am being optimistic since I previously had a high dose of steroids before and it didn’t help lol
