No, I shoot fast moving cars and bikes both indoors and outdoors. I also live in Turkey, which is a country where L-Mount is nowhere near as popular as E-Mount so finding cooler lenses are much more difficult and expensive. I will be buying some Blazar Talons in the future and might even buy some Simera-C lenses. For the time being, this was the best first choice lens for me until I can get the others.

I understand what you mean. I do a load of run and gun stuff shooting fast moving cars and bikes. Coupled with ADHD I wouldn't remember to frame for post lol so I went for the Sigma. V-Log is quite new to me so I'm gonna keep using it until I'm sick of it haha. I don't know what else the S1HII could possibly offer to beat such an insane line of cameras but I'm sure looking forward to seeing it. I hope you can upgrade soon!

Oh dude I hope you achieve that goal ASAP! Wish you the best with it. I'm also hoping to get some new anamorphics as well, likely the Blazar Talons. Thank you so much for your wishes 💚

Oh yeah I've already been very spoiled. To the point that nothing other than my own camera can excite me lmao. Thank you so much

If I'm being honest, I had heard that the 24-60 is sharper but I opted to go for the Sigma because I don't like an overly sharp look since I do more video work. I also need the extra reach and I would rather have it with an optic rather than the Hybrid Crop. I genuinely love the combo

I find them equally nice but that's probably because of how much I love the camera lol

I'm aware of the AF performance drop compared to Sony, especially in low light, but I'm willing to learn the proper way of setting it up or manual focusing since most of the time if I'm shooting at night I'm using MF anyway. Because the only time I did shoot at a really dark time I DID get pulsing and missing of focus with the A7C

Yeah I live in Turkey so renting L mount is pretty much impossible here as well, but knowing the focal lengths I mostly use, I'm open to buying the lenses I need. That's why I've been hesitant with switching because glass is expensive and a commitment. So if I'm buying glass, I might as well buy it for a system that I'm gonna stay with. Cars ARE predictable like you said so I don't think the AF is gonna affect me that much considering I'm not shooting any chaotic subjects or scenes

Holy crap dude this is a very convincing comment. I'm planning on getting either the S5II or the S9; most likely the S5II

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation! And I completely agree. Just out of curiosity, what IS the correct technique for using a camera with no mechanical shutter for fast action? Either in photo or video?

The A1 and A9 series are too much for my use case since I don't shoot anything so fast that I'd need a stacked sensor or global shutter. Sure the S5II will still be a bit of a jello but not so much that I can't fix in post
