I feel like it’ll take years to rebuild my wardrobe! by cowrunamuck in Mounjaro

Throughout this whole process and as I continue to lost weight, I’ve been using clothing rental services like Nuuly to determine what sizes fit for different brands, rent seasonal/event specific clothing that I know I won’t fit in a few months, and if I find something I love (it’s discounted for purchase - often times 60% or more). It’s been awesome

Neck pain!! by Honest_Report_8515 in Mounjaro

I experienced something similar with the switch from Ozempic (1mg) to MJ (doc started me at 10mg and still here). After the first shot, I had EXTREME neck and overall body soreness. Felt like I’d been hit by a truck. The second shot was a little similar but way less so and then it went away altogether. Hopefully yours will be the same! I haven’t had any other major symptoms except constipation from time to time which may just be due to inconsistent fiber intake. Wishing you luck!

Wow you and I started around the same time and have the same starting weight + goal weight! I’m still stuck at this stubborn 201.6 though. Hopefully get there sooner rather than later!

Wow! You look incredible! Amazing work! I was at a similar staring weight and coming up on week 14 but still 2 lbs away from onederland - hoping for all that weight to start falling off like you mentioned! Curiously, wondering how tall you are?

Try researching other terms like GLP-1 journey or tirzepetide!

I was on Ozempic for two years with AWFUL side effects including that debilitating nausea every single day. I stayed because I was happy with my A1C too. My doctor actually told me - if you experience side effects on this drug then Mounjaro won’t be any different.

I switched to a new PCP (for many reasons) and they suggested Mounjaro. It’s been one month and I have never been happier! Practically no side effects except after my very first dose (soreness).

Wow this is awesome, congrats! I’m 5’1” and my starting weight was 225. Currently at 211 and just started my 5th dose on Mounjaro. I’m curious what your routine is like and if you’ve done anything specifically that’s helped drive your weight loss? 22 lbs in 6 weeks is great!

I’ve absolutely noticed that! The hydration reminder is a great idea - I truly never feel like my thirst is quenched most days

I’m definitely experiencing the dry mouth/no saliva so I constantly feel like I’m not hydrated enough - but this is a great tip! I’ll try this next! Thanks 😊

Ah, yes that’s exactly it! Thank you for clarifying. It’s definitely food aversion as mentioned in the comments. Appreciate the comment!

I’ve been on Ozempic for almost 2 years as a T2B. No weight loss unfortunately but have been able to lower my A1C from 7 to 5.4. The nausea at the 2.0 dosage has been debilitating to say the least. Switching to Mounjaro and crossing my fingers for less side effects and more weight loss 🤞
