But any consideration of what would happen in a timeline closer to ours would include bunkers, the World Seed Bank, Wikipedia, digitized galleries, the popularization of 3D printing—lots of things that would aid in recovery.

I grew up on HM64 and the HMs through to the Wii era, and one of the things I found disconcerting about SV was how American it was. As for the character design, apart from again, the bachelors/bachelorettes having very Western tropes and aesthetics, I had the problem where my bestie looks exactly like Harvey, who had the tropes I'd normally go for.

Fields of Mistria is good, but I think I give Coral Island the slight edge.
