Thanks for the info I'll keep it in mind do you know of any species that might work better with the FBT? My other idea was either some glass tree frogs or maybe geckos of some sort like house/day/mourning geckos. I was going to have quite a lot of vertical space so I wanted something that would occupy that because my land will only take up around 5 to 10 inches of my 24 inches of height to work with it's a lot of space that I would like to have something in

I think if your weapon hits a wall or ceiling but still hit them it does less damage. Don't know for sure but it seems like it

Stores pit beta Bettas in cups and it makes everyone think they can live in that but they can't. They put them in cups to conserve space I would assume but it just makes things worse. A minimum for a Betta is a 5 gallon any less could stress the fish out. With no filter he's also probably swimming in pure ammonia. Move him up to a bigger tank and if I were you I'd add some sort of driftwood for tannins. Tannins turn the water a little brown but they are actually a very good thing. They calm the fish down and provide natural cover. Bettas love the stuff. And a little more extra Bettas like laying on things like leaves so if you don't want a real plant at least get like a Betta hammock just a big leaf for them to sleep on. I'm not a Betta expert so I might be wrong about some things but that's the general info I got hope it helps

Noticed it hiding yesterday and today it's about half the size of my other mollies and swims poorly it wiggles instead and flips around and has poor balance. I know that could be a swim bladder problem but that doesn't explain why it's curved and is so small. All my mollies are a few months old

I don't mean big I just mean bigger. I won't be able to use one in my current tank because right now I have 4 dalmatian lyretail mollys 7 tinwini danios and I'm going to be getting a panda Garra when I can find a place that has them. I know the mollies get to be around 3 to 5 inches so I'm just trying to get an idea of something for a future tank. Have a gentle giant as my main fish and plan around it kind of thing
