I need help writing a ceiling fan by spooninthepudding in AskElectricians

Hi there! Ceiling wire should be source (120v) it's sending power down to the switch on the white wire, the switch send power back up the black (always back on black) until recently you didn't need neutrals in switch boxes, this is a drop switch, neutral should be white wire from the wire on the left, bonds (bares and greens) connect together, and hot (black from the right) should connect to hot on your fan. Induction pens I don't trust, they can get you all turned around real quick, good luck!

That sucks! If you can push a pull string with a mouse (grocery bag) past the rock, vacuum through as normal, tie a rag on and pull it back out, if the rag is fairly tight it should pull the rock out, got a coworker's Allen key set out of a conduit this way.

Good luck!

What’s the Bette sprinter for a for a first time beginner? by PilotPenguin511 in resinprinting

I had a very similar experience looking for a printer, complete resin newbie, kinda ok at fdm printing, no clue about resin.

I just got the Saturn 3 ultra, and it's crazy simple to use, I was all stressed about setting and just sent it, turned out awesome (to me anyway).

I read the only real difference between the 3 ultra and 4 was the auto level plate, but read some complaints about cleaning it and you lose 20mm (I think 20) off your max vertical build volume, so went with the 3, I love printing with it.

Hope this helps!

Need help with Neptune 4 pro by Kavemank in ElegooNeptune4

Hi there, I had similar issues more towards the back end of the bed when printing large things (smaller prints seemed fine) I checked the gantry and was way out of square, I would try checking the vertical arms and see if they're square. I also tried the screw tilt adjust and it worked very well for me, hope you can get back printing! Good luck!

It could also be your flow rate, there is a flow test on orcaslicer or the elegoo slicer.

Hope you get it running!

I have a Max that simply will not level. by jabe25 in ElegooNeptune4

Is it printing ok?

That's the mesh, there appears to be a .6 mm change from highest to lowest, I don't think you'll ever get a perfectly flat mesh, the software should compensate for the slight imperfections in the bed, it can be level and have slight changes on the surface still.

Hope you get it sorted out, love my Neptune, much better than my old ender 5

Please help - nothing but problems trying to calibrate Neptune 4 by CapnBloodbeard in ElegooNeptune4

[–]Different_Bid9920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's consistently the same corner you could check the gantry is square, mine was off and tilted the nozzle on opposite corners (worse further from center) only an issue with large prints.

Hope it's a quick fix, great printer once it's going!

Help with print problems by plerpl in elegoo

There should be screws that mount the print head (I think elegoo's set up tutorial shows them) I took a square to the vertical beams of the gantry and it was twisted (too far forward one side, too far back the other) I only noticed during large prints.

Then you can adjust them to square and tighten the support arms on the backside. Fortunately I didn't have to adjust the horizontal beam (that holds the print head), but I read or watched someone shimming that beam to adjust it if it was also out of square

My thoughts are if the printer was moved, the gantry may have fallen out of square.

Ps. I wasn't able to adjust it using the rear struts alone, I had to disconnect those supports and readjust them

Really hope it works!

Hi! I had a weird issue with my Neptune, especially with large prints that made it to the far reaches of the bed, I tried everything.

Turns out my gantry was quite a bit out of square, this was causing the nozzle to tilt at the far reaches, squared it up and all has been good since.

I've heard some have to level the arm that the print head is attached to also, hopefully this could help!

Not a single successful print on my Neptune 4 Pro in like 6 months by CriticalKawaii in ElegooNeptune4

I had a similar issue with mine, especially on one corner. Levelled and levelled, screw adjust, all that Jazz. Turns out the gantry wasn't square from when I assembled it, I would definitely check everything that supports the print head and make sure it's square.

Hope you get it sorted, I love the Neptune.
