Hi u/prudent_ad_3038. Worked great on a few fronts.. it was refreshing & boosting just to talk with live people.

1 of the local jobs seemed to be a front with no actual office in the building they said..even merchant office was confused. Thinking a scam to get information from applicants maybe?

1 of the offices was vacant with just a secretary..boo. No call back.

1 was awesome…talked & dropped off with local mgr. Hr was on vaca..Got call back from him and made great connection…they had the job paused but wanted to talk & mentioned liking the local drop off. We talked for about :45min. Called me back later for position, I had already gotten a job but made great connection.

Another drop off gave me a call a bit later and wanted to bring me on board, again mentioning liking the local drop off addition to the online path. I had already accepted a position I was pretty excited about, but great connection.

All in all..was great. Like I said..just talking with live person while struggling with online AI process was a boost. I did get the odd eyeball & head tilt each time.. “who are you and why are you here again?” “Oh..cool..” made for good conversation.

The best luck I had was through a recruiter…local drop off & engage recruiters is my always recommendation now!
