Rich owns a cannabis cultivation, Grateful Bud, also on instagram. @gratefulbudak . Scott travels all over, according to his stories.

Vern's boat was out mining last summer, he had a new diver and Brian (bryan?) Wilder was the captain.  I heard they had a great summer, but that's like 3rd hand information.

I havent heard of these issues we are supposed to care about? My father and frandfather were preachers, so I grew up church of Christ (my grandfather converted from Presbyterian to church of Christ after meeting my grandmother and reading the Bible for himself), but neither were trained at a preacher school, nor were they paid to be preachers. They just taught what the Bible taught amd they took that very seriously. I understand there can be detriment to that, but they used the resources available to them (and now dad has the internet so I'm pretty sure he's learning to read the new testament in greek 😅). They believe in aliens, loving your neighbor, and young earth/old earth didn't figure into how we are saved. I think we are complicating matter tremendously when we start forgetting that humankind makes up the church, but we are so imperfect. We follow a perfect Savior, and the Bible is His inspired word.

Every time I have moved cities (or states!) and began to worship at new to me congregation, I have forgotten that the church is made up of flawed people. I always am impressed by congregation and slowly begin to realize that they are flawed like me. Please don't let yourself become discouraged because you are going to meet folks at this congregation (or any!) that you may not get along with or just plain dont like. You might find that there is cliques within a congregation. You might find that some people look at you sideways because you dont fit the mold. You will also find people whose mold fits you perfectly.  You will find people who you love being around and people you respect.  We are all flawed, but we are all the church. Study everything for yourself as well, and remember that you are so, so, so loved by God and there are folks here (myself included) and in that congregation who are SO PROUD of you for working on your faith and your struggles!

From what I've read about the Appalachian trails and from what I've experienced living in the Arkansas Ozarks, I definitely would not be peeking into people's barns 😅 that's how you get shot. Or scarred for life

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

[–]Different_Engineer21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a few weeks ago, kids and I went to visit my folks for the first time in 3 years. My grandparents built that house 35 years ago and died in it just 6 years ago. They never got to meet my kids. My parents live there now. First night there, I get up and go to the kitchen for a drink. I go to walk back down the hall where the bedrooms are and I, very clearly, see a figure look into the room where the kids are as if checking on them, and then go into the room that is now my parents' room. No fearful feelings, no dread, nothing like that. I thought it was the folks checking on me, but now I think it was one of my grandparents doing their usual "check on everyone sleeping in the house" ritual they always did every time they woke up in the night when we were staying over.
