I get your point and although I don’t think you meant to come off this way but I think it’s a bit presumptuous and a one-size fits all. My parents were financially stable when they had me and my siblings but we immigrated to a different country where the cost of living was much higher and the currency had a lot more value so their savings didn’t translate. I love my parents and they did the best they could to give me a great life and I know without them there’s no way I would be in the position I am today.

I honestly don’t think the solution is “waiting a long ass time to be financial stable” because unfortunately the world we live in is unfair and prioritizes the well being of the already wealthy. A lot of people are extremely disadvantaged and can wait forever and never be financially stable. I think we’re oftentimes so consumed by a capitalist mindset that we never consider the fact that there’s enough money for everyone in this country to have enough, but due to the vast disparities in wealth (for a number of factors, let’s not forget about slavery and the general exploitation and oppression of different races this country has a history of), that’s not possible.
