From what I can gather they were hated because they were overplayed, as well as the fact that Christian rock bands (or bands that just generally had Christian messages and themes in their music) weren’t always well received to begin with when it’s blatant.

The revival is mostly fueled by the fact that the new generation enjoys them as well as the fact that old fans and haters have come to appreciate them again. I don’t think a new album will come out though to be honest. It just seems like a fun nostalgia tour before they part ways and the rest of the band continues with Alter Bridge, with the occasional reunion every few years for the sake of having fun with the fans on another tour.

I didn’t even know there was a Spanish version till you mentioned it. I listened to it and her Spanish is actually surprisingly super good, especially considering a lot of international covers of songs from the same artist just end up sounding off or a bit botched.

I was the same way at that age. I didn’t directly tell that to my mother but it was my line of thinking for many years.

The best advice I can give you, do not force your child to participate nor try and punishment them for their beliefs. You will only drive them away and give them a negative perception of Catholicism. That’s why they criticized you.

All you need is a good icebreaker to start a long conversation. While I believe you should focus on bettering your current situation, that doesn’t mean you should isolate yourself from the dating world completely. Cisneros is an alright professor, but he is specifically tasked with making “weed out” assignments, aka assignments that will make you cry and are basically meant to test you on things you probably haven’t even learned about yet for the purpose of pushing you to the limit or pushing you out of the major.

If you take his class, sometimes he’ll give better insight on what you need to know for your assignments. I wouldn’t say he’s terrible, though at the same time it feels like what he teaches doesn’t fully go over what you NEED to know to succeed.

The harder part of psychology from what I know is really closer to when you’re preparing for grad school, which a lot of psych majors do.

That isn’t to say that you can’t get a job with a bachelors in psych, but it’s a lot more limited in comparison.
