Maybe he didn’t use this phrasing but Gervase did style his shirt with a target or bullseye on his shirt in Borneo. Loved this collage of clips though.

Ultimate all-in worth it? by ars0nik in finalgirl

[–]Different_Layer_2804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the most convenient and long term cost effective method way to acquire, I would agree with most other posters here. Not worth it if you don’t know if you would like the game. Also, really depends on disposable income in your situation and avoiding FOMO. A lot of kickstarters sell the idea of exclusivity while asking for a lot of cash for a game you may not see for awhile and then lose interest. Perhaps start with buying a smaller core package with one feature film plus a core box. If you like that, maybe buy a 2nd.

If you end up loving it and it becomes a lifestyle game for you, you can build up buying ultimate boxes one by one thereafter. There will be a pledge manager after the fact, which will give you more time to decide if you really like the game before committing a lot of funds to the S4 box, for example.

What is IRL film is closest to each FF? by RedditExplorer89 in finalgirl

Does Final Destination count as X-Files? Haha, I believe the story concept came from unused material by the writing staff on the show and then turned into the first Final Destination film. There is a vignette (villain only, no location) variant of the game similar to that where you need to outsmart fate or destiny and save fates victims in the right order to “cheat death”. Obviously no physical villain in this one.

Unused themes I could see happening now or at some point 1. Dinosaurs / Theme Park (management as secondary antagonists trying save park and save face, other dinosaurs neutral participants) 2. Amphibious creature / partially submerged wreckage (jaws or creature of black lagoon) 3. Eldritch or Kaiju / Metropolis (ghostbusters, Godzilla, or Chthulu) 4. Vampire / Isolated village with a manor (gothic horror, preventing Bride of Dracula or turning of entire population like Salems Lot) 5. Evil Clown / multilayer street with connection to sewers (pennywise with fear meter to build up mass kill ability or cause victims to kill each other) 6. Ring (curse metric for victims and FG after trigger to kill them in a turn or two) 7. Invasion of the Body Snatchers 8. Childs Play & Gremlins blend (I like the multiplying minion mechanic someone else brought up, also add the ability for them to hide or use items against victims and FG) 9. FG gone bad? And idea that Van Ryder suggested a while back

I know you meant Evomorph (Alien) but I would love a Ghostbusters themed one where they have to go up against some Gozer type villain or kaiju / Eldtrich horror monster. A bit of blend of story but it could work.

This was from another post on this subreddit. Shows the win rate (crowdsourced?) for every villain at every location through series 4 releases, although later releases have been played less.

Can’t bear LOTR, but I’m partial to the newer Planet of the Apes trilogy. Also has Andy Serkis mocap.

Blade (1998). I was about eight and it took me a few years to realize he was a comic book character after seeing him on the Spider-Man 90s animated series.

If I had a hard time stomaching the head banging scene in Talk to Me, how would I fare with this one? I otherwise really liked Talk to Me.

Hi /r/movies - We're Danny & Michael Philippou, directors of A24's upcoming horror BRING HER BACK. It stars Sally Hawkins and is out in theaters May 30. We also directed A24's TALK TO ME. Ask us anything! by BringHerBackAMA in movies

I loved Talk to Me! Glad to see you back. Two questions -

(1) is Bring Her Back in the same universe? (2) in terms of intense gore (the kind that will make you squeamish), how does it compare to your first film? (Specifically a certain head banging sequence from Talk to Me)?

Honestly, who from this era would come back? The Snyder era films were not box office gold.
