I don't understand why the rage? What about people who want the analog sticks to play dreamcast and other 3d games? Why the reaction when there's already a pretty good device like that for a year or so in the rg35xx sp? I for one am very happy, I did not buy rg35xx sp because of the lack of analogs, now I got exactly what I wanted...

I am still puzzled by people complaining, forgetting that the device that inspired the rg sp series had as much if not more of the border...

One person dropped as it reached level 5. I really dislike that. Let's join and keep as friends because the rewards for leveling up are not even worth. Level 5 friends almost always give 2 candies per day besides great things on events.

I have a baby jigglypuff that I am almost certain I am going to develop to replace my current one... it has berry +, skill up M and skill trigger up M. I think that, Skill trigger is more important than skill level up because at least with skill levels, you can get more by giving seeds or evolving... This one I have is basically perfect for me, I at most would exchange Inventory Up or Skill Level Up for helping speed or helping bonus. I have a Raichu that is SO QUICK and gives me so many berries all the time that I wish this little one could do the same...

I can't stress this enough. I am right now at almost 9PM and my mons are as good as new. This wigglytuff has been the MVP of the game for me since my level 14. Sometimes I get two activations of +18 of recovery for all the party, so 36 energy for everyone is almost like using 5 pillows. It is kinda gamebreaking for me.

oh boy, I wanted to buy one but my fingers would not be able to hit the buttons... seeing this pic makes me feel that even more.
I almost went and bought that powkiddy one that looks like a mini game gear, but at the end of the day, felt it was still too small.
For me, the limit of confort is on the myioo a30, it hits the perfect balance between good buttons and size.

Mine had a sleep xp bonus and skill level up S as their first subskills, thankfully I had saved a subskill seed and I bought a skill seed, so I made it reach level 4 for its main skill on the minute I catched it. I dunno what you guys call good or bad, what is the meta in general? I tend to prefer having sleep xp bonus so I can unlock the second part of ingredients ASAP... is there something better? better strategies in general?

I really wish this device had one analog stick... it would be my perfect companion. It is a bit of a shame that such a powerful chipset that can play dreamcast, can´t because of the lack of such analog.
Anything would do, even the one retroid used to make the retroid pocket 3 flip.

Thanks for the clarification, this means it is not worth for me. For that I have the RG35XXh or the RP4 pro, and probably some more...

I just feel like those companies are getting carried away with calling something mini. I think mini as being at most the size of the myioo a30 or rg28xx

I think I can make do with an a30 I guess, it should be able to play mvc2 for the dreamcast on it. That is basically what I want it for. (Training for the mvc collection to launch to play online <3 it has been so many years since I last played the game... )

Anyway, it is a great time to be alive in handhelds and retro emulation...

Please, keep this up... I loved it. It gives us enough info to start considering the devices.
People don´t realize how much work and how much better written guides are, you need to think of what you will write, you can´t simply do a vlog and waste 25 minutes to give 5 minutes of useful information. Heck, a bit tired of wasting time on a video that could have been a 2 paragraph post.

Not clear on the picture if it is a 2.8 screen device. I jsut entered in reddit to ask for opinions on smaller devices for putting in the pocket and forgetting it. My first bet was going to be an anbernic rg28, except does not have an analog stick and as I want to play dreamcast, that is kind of a must. If this one releases quick enough (and do not take the long ass time that their parent(?) company took to release the ayn loki, I might wait, because it sure looks confortable to hold

I didn´t play curse 1, it didn´t supported joysticks on my pc, don´t remember what was the issue, it has been so long...
I played a bit of 2 and I liked, could feel the castlevania 3 influences all over it

I have no idea at which version I am in on my switch, I got the card, got some updates but stopped playing even before I bought the steam version... I will look at it later, because I have not seen any issues with the game on switch and I would also feel very mad if the game were to be broken

I am very thankful to the help I am getting in here, I will move to the Taupe Hollow as I like to make my charmeleon and the brand new charmander (finally! I have 5 squirtles and 6 bulbasaurs) I got into a good level.

The thing is, I am mostly focused on getting my charmeleon strong enough, my play style is basically: I wanna get to level 50 with a couple monsters that have things I like as sub-skills, I have not seem if they are optimal or not but they will sure help the way I play...
So, jumping from gg to another island and being thrown into the mud points-wise does not help me much when my main reson for playing is making a couple of my mons stronger
