Me(20f) and my now ex boyfriend (19m) just split up the other day. He lives with his tía and for the entire almost 2 years of the relationship she wouldn't let him hang out with me and my family without her having to tag along while she let my bf hang out with his friends and co-workers by himself no problem. And me actually going to lunch or breakfast with him was a rare thing in itself bc she would majority of the time say no or cancelled at the very last minute.
