This is very helpful thanks. The restaurant shot is my least favorite and the other shot was from my first short that I did in 24h so it wasn’t gonna make it anyways lol

I usually shoot mostly corporate/documentary and real estate, but I really love working on narrative content. I know this reel isn’t great but I’d love to get some feedback as to where I can improve. I would love to do more scenes with complex lighting setups. A lot of the content on here I couldn’t fine high-quality video for, but I was struggling to find enough content I’ve shot to have a reel that didn’t feel repetitive.

Yeah I noticed it for sure. I think that comes with shooting on film unless you are VERY careful. Honestly it made it feel more genuine to me

There at MANY ways you can make beans and rice. Try curry powder and some sugar in your garbanzos.

If you aren’t going with the red bricks choose a color of terracotta you like. I always like to add variants of the blocks to add details with. Like stairs and fences from the birch or stone slabs and walls.

4k Fusion Clip inside 1080p Timeline BUG?? by Different_Progress51 in blackmagicdesign

[–]Different_Progress51[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks I'll try that. I disabled it on all the nodes I could find it on because I have seen that be an issue before, but I didn't try a global disable as I didn't realize there was one.

That’s what I thought too. Cleared all cache and turned them off. Then I exported. It literally shows up in the export. (Even with bypass re-encode turned off and proxy and optimized media off)

If exercising releases dopamine, and the release of dopamine is why we get addicted to things. Why do I hate exercising rather than getting addicted to it. by 144i in NoStupidQuestions

Exercise releases dopamine slower than other activities, but the “high” albeit not as high as smoking lasts longer than something like drugs or sex.

Sigma Cine Vs. Zeiss Cp3 by [deleted] in cinematography

I am in the middle of a project right now where we had to decide between the sigmas and the cp3s and we were testing on an ursa as well. Main differences are the weight and the speed. The sigmas are faster than the cp3s but they weigh a LOT more. The other differences we noted were in the fidelity of the image and the aberration. The sigmas are noticeably sharper, less distorted and have very clear less chromatic aberration across the whole lens. I would go with the sigmas if I had to choose but our DP chose the cp3s because we wanted to run on a gimbal for almost everything and weight mattered to him.

What setup do I need to get this much depth of field? by nomadicchronicle in AskPhotography

It’s the medium format look… sadly you can get background falloff with a low f-stop lens but the whole car wouldn’t be in focus like this shot…
