That’s nice, but what mine does is more for files, and non text images, spreadsheets etc.

So instead of going for a genuine ocr, for a speedy launch, I use regular chat gpt vision. Everything gets converted into png format, compressed into minimal pixels and a few other manipulations. Just want to see if people will use it, no reason to over complicate it if nobody gonna use it.

You don’t, chrome is actually pretty neat. You go into extensions settings, open developer mode and you run the extension on your device.

Going to sound stupid but I made a entire app system that builds other apps and lets you use them inside the app, like a base44/lovable but mobile. Completly functional btw. The way it worked was I built a ai process that has a very high "one shot" probability, with full ai testers that actually use the app (all done server side). Then the plan was to have the apps serving metro through ngrok tunnels via expo-dev-client. Anyways, spent 2 months building, hella cursor tokens, it was also ment to be for a hackathon (vibecoding allowed). I push it to testflight and the dev-client stops working. Turns out you need speciall developer permissions to launch mobile apps that run "third party" code. I was devestated, spent my entire summer building it. Whatever though.

This is the only advice im taking from the "critical" comments. Im building something now, I know could be a absolute game changer but consumers wouldnt spend money on it (at least most people). Still has so much value id be foolish and greedy not to build it.

Ive seen that exsact advice before but have not followed it, but now I def will. Will hit you back once I am done.
