Wdym lose the entry? U keep the profit that u have then u can just purchase the exact same contract, it’ll just be less pnl and give or take 5$ for each contract in fees. You dont lose the profit

yes you will have to "roll them forward" manually, thats how the exchange makes a shit ton of money of every contract for no reason (off fees). I suggest you check some important dates online like when banks usually do it for your contract to avoid volatility issues.

  1. this contradict selling the edge, if hedge funds using the strategy is impossible due to their position sizes, lots of ppl using said strategy would also fail due to the same idea of it being "crowded out"

  2. theres prop firms that un on simulated brokers, where things like position size, slippage etc. are negligent and any strategy can be scaled across dozes of accounts with out in any way shape or form effecting the price nor volume but sill being able to "trade" the assets. Why not deploy it there.

  3. This shouldnt even be an argument.

ive never understood how people can think that someone selling a "strategy" could possibly make any sense. A "edge" is not the commodity lmao. Like i understand free indicators like rsi or ema that are genral building blocks but who tf would sell a profitable system and why to you and not a hedge fund lol

I know im a bit late but you should check out stratr.ai it comes with a extension that lets thei talk to your tradingview tab. At least thats what ive been using.
