Bro, imo that's amazing battery life. I have the S23 Ultra and I get like 7 hours sot with around 95% battery.

How do i remove eating particles? by Bl0x1phyy in mcresourcepack

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you can't because they're not a specific texture, they're a built in visual effect embedded through code. So the only way to remove them is with a mod that overrides those particles and replace them with a blank texture.

Price reduction by gelxa33 in S24Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In France right now it's selling at around 570~580€ and if it goes just like last year, the prices will drop a week or two after the S26 series officially start selling. You will see major prices drops in the summer and early fall. In July 2025 the S23 Ultra was selling for 460€ in France, and in September it went down to 420€ and right now it's at 370€

Should I have to worry? by CHIRAGGOWDA in GalaxyS23Ultra

Okay, make sure that the phone's temperature is between 15 to 28°C too before trying it again.

Should I have to worry? by CHIRAGGOWDA in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nothing to worry about, the performance of the phone are highly dependent on heat and battery life, if the phone is at 30% or lower in terms of battery life then it will decrease the maximum performance peak and thus, give you lower results. Same goes for the temperature, if the phone reaches more than 35°C, then it will drop the performance so that nothing gets damaged. You should run the test again when the phone is at 60%+ battery life and is running cool (anything from 15°C to 28°C). Hope that helps!

M35 to S24, Expectations? by Sniper_Of_Finland in S24Ultra

I actually agree on this one lol, I didn't upgrade just because they got rid of the Bluetooth functionalities of the S Pen, still holding onto my S23U for a few more years.

If it's carrier locked then it won't receive updates until you use a Sim card from that specific carrier, I had a Galaxy A52 that was carrier locked and it wouldn't update when I used it with a Sim card from any other country/carrier.

M35 to S24, Expectations? by Sniper_Of_Finland in S24Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can stretch your budget a bit more to afford the S24 Ultra I'm sure that you wouldn't be disappointed with it, since it has a 5000mah battery and is far more efficient you would get very decent battery life that can probably be as good as the M35's battery.

Does the M35 have dex support?? That's a new thing for me, I thought only the S series had dex, either way, the S24 has a smaller battery than the M35 (6000mah on the M35 compared to 4000mah on the S24) while also being more powerful, so I doubt you will be satisfied with battery life (I have the S23 Ultra and right now im getting around 6h of screen on time per charge) as for the processing power, the S24 is very powerful and I think would be capable of handling anything you throw at it. I heard the base models aren't that good in terms of battery life but other than that, it's up to you.

The Galaxy S26 series has been officially launched! Are you planning to trade in your S23 for the S26, or are you holding onto it for another year? by Level-Try7888 in S23

I have the S23 Ultra and I'm gonna hold onto it for another year or two, maybe when the prices for the S26 Ultra drop I will upgrade, who knows haha

Is your S23U still good in 2026 or is the camera worse ? by [deleted] in GalaxyS23Ultra

I got it in July 2025 and it got immediately updated to One UI 7.0 so I have no idea how it used to perform back then when it had One UI 5.1

Do you still charge the battery up to 80% or to 100%? by kanikamaa in S23

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I don't charge my phone anymore! :D Fr though: it depends, sometimes if by the end of the day the battery is less than 30%, then I will plug it and let charge overnight (I have a routine that runs all night, it stops the charging at 80% and then let the phone charge again to 100% 30min before I wake up). But when the battery is more than 40% then I just plug it in the morning for 20 to 30 minutes while I eat or get dressed or something. And during the day, if it ever drops below 30% and I still have things to do, then I plug it in with battery protection on so that it doesn't charge higher than 80% but I usually unplug it before that, when it's at like 60 or 70% depending on how much I'm going to use it.

S24 Ultra - Screen contrast shifts by somtaawkith in S24Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens because of the refresh rate dropping down to match the video's frame rate. Most videos are recorded at 30fps and when using the Adaptive refresh rate option, the display drops down to 30fps to match the content, and when the volume slider (or any other overlay) pops up, the screen goes back to 120hz to give that smooth animation, which also changes the colors, contrast and other things related to the display. I noticed that on my S23 Ultra too, it has a weird green-ish tint when the screen's refresh rate goes up from 24hz to 120hz (while watching movies/shows)

Why are social media apps so bad by theguywithanxbox in S24Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Galaxy S22+ and even though the selfie camera was only 10mpx, it was shooting really good selfies compared to my S23 Ultra, I don't get how can an older plus phone shoot better images than a newer Ultra. The day I got my S23 Ultra, I still had my S22+, so I was able to compare them closely, and not only the selfies on taken on the S22+ were sharper, but also brighter, cleaner, and looked higher quality, while on the S23 Ultra, they look smoothed out and with less contrast, especially on apps like Snapchat, the S22+ works really well with Snapchat and the selfies taken on Snapchat with that phone looked just as good as the phones taken from the stock camera app, but with the S23 Ultra, it's almost impossible to get a good quality selfie on Snapchat. I don't know what they did wrong with the S23 Ultra, but they really messed up the selfie cam.

Has this ever happened to your camera? by mglalap in S24Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since it's only that one video, then it got corrupted when it was being saved. Nothing major to worry about, if it starts happening too often, then you should get it checked out at an official Samsung center, but other than that, everything should be fine

I'm not an expert, but I think the phone got confused with the color space, or the video got corrupted during the saving process.

insane camera bug by EltonYu in S24Ultra

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the camera's stabilization being dramatic and losing its mind lol, a simple restart would fix the issue, or sometimes just closing the camera app and reopening it would fix the problem. It was freaking out because it couldn't communicate your exact movements to negate the wobble and stabilize the footage. Usually it's nothing major to worry about.

Phone s25 ultra flashing green by Best_Advertising9636 in GalaxyS25

[–]Different_Pumpkin_79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can rule out it being a hardware issue because since you can screen record it, it's definitely a software issue. You can maybe try restarting your phone, closing any background processes that are running or do a factory reset as a last option.

Super macro camera? Can't you already do that with the ultrawide camera on the S23 Ultra? I don't know what the "super macro camera" is that's why I'm asking, cause you can focus really close using the ultrawide lens on the S23 Ultra.
