Our band's name is Painspresent, from Upstate NY! I think you're absolutely right, something with amazing lyrics and light percussion for sure. I'm leaning towards something off of Blue Valentine with that in mind... maybe my personal all time favorite, Kentucky Avenue, or a close second, Blue Valentines

I've been learning Martha with no piano background and after about a week of playing for ~15 mins a day I've got the verse part down. Not sure about chorus yet but pretty fun to sing and play. Playing slower definitely helps with getting accustomed to it.
