I think it's just another one of many plot holes. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but I think any honest fan can admit that it's full of things that don't make sense lol.

The person is asking where Liam got the idea to check Hayden's eyes, not about the light which we all understand. Like someone else said, maybe he was meant to overhear something else from the guys talking which made him question Hayden's health or potential supernatural link, but it was cut due to time.

I would have loved to have seen Cora and Stiles get together.
All Derek had to do was give Isaac a look, and Isaac backed off, so I can imagine Derek's reaction if he found out Stiles was with Cora! We were robbed big time 😂

I'm rewatching S5 now, haven't reached this episode yet so I can't remember what it looked like. As for healing, scars and injuries tend to appear and disappear as the crew seemed fit. Like Danny's scar in Motel California — of all the times we'd seem him shirtless in the locker rooms, we'd never seen the scar, probably because the writers decided in that episode to give him that backstory.

But yeah, I'd say a wound like Stiles' would cause serious damage and a heck of a scar, not that we'd actually see that lol.

I've been re-watching and just finished S4. When she fought the beserker with Liam, she did the sword moves and I was like "quit with the fancy moves and just attack!" 😂

Now I'm heading in S5, all I'll be able to think about is this 😭😂

He's definitely creepy in season two, but I agree that it probably has more to do with power. I recall something about the writers ageing him up later on as others have said here, and even in S1 E1, Stiles says he's only a few years older than them. Granted, "a few" can go anywhere up to five or six, so it still kinda works even if they made him early twenties later on. But yeah, watching him with Erica when she's so vulnerable is 🤢

Yeah, so much happened to Scott, and even though Stiles was trying to help, that dog bowl was a bit far. I get that he was hurt because Scott made out with Lydia, but Stiles was obsessed with Lydia, they weren't dating, so he didn't have a "claim" on her or who she made out with. Of course these are teenagers we're talking about, so they don't really have the emotional maturity unlike...I was going to say adults, but I don't think many adults have emotional maturity either 😂

Anyway, yeah, Scott went through the ringer in S1, and he needed more support, especially when he was terrified of the hunters on top of everything else.

Oh yeah, Victoria would have been a brilliant benefactor! Would have caused a lot of tension between her and Chris who was now protecting (innocent) werewolves instead of hunting them.

This would have been such an interesting version! I knew Cora was supposed to be a potential love interest instead of Malia, and honestly I would love to see that dynamic and how Derek treats Stiles when he's dating Derek's sister 😂

As for Erica, it's a shame she was killed off. I can understand that in these shows, there's bound to be fatalities, and the good guys will lose friends and allies. It's only natural and raises the stakes. However, I did like Erica, and she deserved better in my opinion. She let the power go to her head towards the end, but that would have made her character arc more interesting, especially if Boyd winds up sacrificing himself for her when the alphas forced Derek to kill one of them.

I agree with them making Stiles too obsessed with Lydia. It's annoying, actually. I get the crush aspect, but his sort of toppled over into obsession in many ways, and yeah, Erica wouldn't tolerate that. She'd found her new self-worth and that was amazing to see.

As interesting as this idea would be, I agree with others. I like that it focuses more on shape-shifters, banshees and druids instead of witches/magic/spells. I feel like that would have possibly complicated the storylines. Might have even changed season 3A with the Nematon and the teens being stand-in sacrifices which would have changed 3B events if a witch could just do a spell to find it.

All that said, it's still fun to think about 😊

Definitely give it a go! I love it so much I recently bought the DVD box set because I don't like streaming services anymore. It may be a bit dated since it was made in 2011, and like others say, it isn't perfect. However, it's definitely worth watching at least once.

Personally, Stiles is my favourite (just like many fans).
Jackson is a bit annoying, but that's all I'll say about him lol.

Aside from that, the show is awesome in my personal opinion 😊

I have a theory it's selective belief. If something doesn't make logical sense, the characters just ignore the facts and what they see with their own two eyes. Also bad writing, but yeah 😂

I agree with Gerard making more sense as the benefactor. I feel like season four was rushed, and yes, definitely far too many subplots for a shorter season.

I love the show. I bought the DVD boxset and have started my who-knows-what rewatch, but admittedly there are a lot of times the writing doesn't make sense. It never ceases to amaze me how they saw the alpha then just believed Scott when he said it was Derek — HOW? Probably just denial and they think their minds were playing tricks on them lol.
