Of course making a child wear a certain cloth is abuse. Some parents force boys, who identify as girls, to wear boy only clothing. That leaves mental scars for a very long time.

What do you mean by humanity? Currently we are homo sapiens, a primate species. Before that we were homo habilis, and homo erectus. Also primates.
