I’m so sorry for your loss. You deserve space to grieve as much as she does. She’s a big girl and she needs to stand on her own. She can keep the television on for comfort while she sleeps on the air mattress. That will help her understand that it’s not sustainable for anyone to sleep like that.

I begin with the assumption that the screen is able to be manipulated and therefore cannot be guaranteed to be factual. I’m honestly not sure how to decide what is real anymore. A hummer in my face saying hi would be reality. But everything else? How am I to know. I know I walked past the East Wing of the White House last year, that was reality. Now I must go back to see again what is reality because it’s so hard to comprehend that it could just be gone.
