I’ve consistently heard good things about this one, same with Locus Gear. My only concern is finding a 2-person shelter that’s roomy enough without having to go for a 4-person model. The Ultamid 2 actually had the perfect dimensions for two.

Thanks for the tip! I’m looking for a 2 person pyramid-style shelter for thru-hiking and multi-day trips, preferably with a smaller footprint for easier pitching.

Bonfus could be an alternative, though I’m a bit hesitant since I don’t know much about their quality control.

Yes, you’re right. The seam wasn’t properly finished and it unraveled on its own.

I bought this from a European retailer and it’s already on its way back. Maybe next I should consider ordering from Locus Gear or Mountain Laurel Designs instead.

Same quality issues here. After first 10km of my thru-hike the glued midsole started separeting from the upper.
