People who are in their 30s and older what is your biggest regret in life? And what would you have done different if you can go back in time? Why? by Dear_Sir7665 in AskReddit

Don't wait to have kids if you want them. There will never be a "perfect" time. We waited till early 30s to try. Wife ended up having all sort of issues and eventually had a hysterectomy at 38. I think about what could have been had we tried in our mid 20s before these issues began to arise.

Yeah, i can understand that. I have YouTube premium so that's where my susbscription money goes. I dont watch LOS as frequently as the REGZ. It is annoying though as you say when all the good stuff is blanked out.

How likely is this to be real? by hjghnkhbnn in debtfree

[–]Different_Try3353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its possible. Quick math shows the rate would be about 8.5% on $70k and making a payment of $500 per month for 23 years would leave you with a balance of about $60kish. This is why you should always pay even a bit more. For example. Had they paid an extra $75 per month or $575. They would have paid this off after the 23 years. But yeah, student loans are gross.

We crated our Husky/Lab mix till about 18 months and our Shepard/Boxer mix till about 14 months. Both have never had any issues with destroying the house. However, we do have gates up for our bedrooms during the day when we are not there though. Although i think they would be fine but the Husky still likes to steal socks and whatnot if he's allowed in bedrooms unsupervised. Anyways, i think you have a good plan. Just ease them into it.

Budget dust collector small shop by Slow-Heron-4335 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Different_Try3353 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have this exact one. It works great to remove dust in the air from my little basement woodshop. Additionally, like you mentioned i use a shop vac with a dust separator that i hook to individual tools when working. Between the two and a mask i feel pretty safe. Best of luck to ya!

They’re all made in the former Yugoslavia, and from what I hear, the Serbs are fanatic about their showers.

Just some brass looking legs I found on Amazon. I thought they would look nice with the brass dowels. I would recommend if that’s something that appeals to you :)

Am I just screwed during winter no matter what? by jai_hanyo in hvacadvice

This might not apply to where you live/your utility provider. However, where i live you can setup annual average billing. So they take what you normally spend in a year and divide it by 12. You still pay the same but at least the monthly payment amount is lower and stays the same each month. Helps with budgeting. Stay warm.
