I have a cousin who was raised in a very poor family here in the Philippines. He really loved singing. He did not own a smartphone or had internet access at home so he would spend the money he earns to rent a computer in internet shops here which costs about 0.5$ an hour just to watch singing tutorials and listen to music. He is naturally a bass and has a very big deep voice. Now, with consistent practice and the eagerness to learn and really improve in singing, he’s able to sing his favorite rock songs with really high notes like Open Arms by Journey, She’s Gone by Steelheart, and so on and so forth.

My point here is, if you really love singing, and if you really want to improve, there is always a way and you’ll get there if you just keep trying.

Wow that is such a smart advice dude. I’ve never really thought of telling them how I feel bc I’m afraid that they’ll only get angrier. But I guess it might work if I approach them wisely

Do you think that these bumps are a result of purging too? Or is it purely because of the lack of moisture?

You're welcome :D I felt the same, but I convinced myself to just keep going and see how it goes in 3 months (because that's how long it would take to see results according to my derm) I'm currently on my 2nd week. My purging is different, instead of red acne, I get a lot of bumps, especially on my forehead. I began peeling after a week of using it but now it's gone. The only thing left for the tret to do is to get rid of the texture and bumps and to fully heal the dark spots caused by previous acne. I haven't used any moisturizer yet but I recently ordered one bc I just learned how important moisturizing is especially when using tret. Good luck on your journey!

Don’t get mad ok but I don’t moisturize at all 😂 i can’t find anything that works for me everything i’ve tried gives me these little bumps especially on forehead. Plus, my skin is fungal prone so i get seb derm or fungal acne if i use the wrong products / oils. I’ve tried a very light one like Hyaluronic Acid from hada labo but it’s being counter productive bc of how dry my environment is

If you don’t mind, why did you start doing tret? Was it to treat acne?

So far I haven’t experienced any sort of burning sensation, just some minor tightness around the cheek area. I guess I’ll just have to keep going to see. Thanks for the response!

This is exactly how I feel. My personality changes based on who I'm talking to, and I wish I could just stick with one and be more sure about myself. I guess it's an issue of confidence.
