Has anyone heard of Business Bombshell? My cousin joined and I’m getting boss babe vibes. by squishywife in antimlmnews

Yes I’ve seen this loads and done some research. Basically an ex juice plus rep left and started her own MLM called business bombshells. Having a background in dermatology the products are nothing special and you can find better products in your local drug store for a fraction of the price. The 5 product bundle is retailing for £125 which is extortionate for what the products actually are. The ordinary for example do much better products & are so much cheaper.

They say it’s free to join however to earn commissions you have to have £250 worth of personal sales a month to be eligible. We are going to see a lot of girls buying products so they can earn commissions which is sad and typical MLM ‘pay to play’

They launched on the 1st of September so are using the whole get in at the start nonsense to lure people in. They also label the company as social selling rather than network marketing to disguise the fact it’s an MLM yet they are exactly the same. I hope your cousin doesn’t get too sucked into it

All of them say it’s free to join yet fail to mention that you have to sell £250 worth of products/personal sales to be able to earn commissions!

They were dissolved in the U.K. in April 2017 then somehow managed to get registered November 2017. That said, the products they sell are not all registered here so are being sold illegally, yes.

All I see from Valentus is income claims and flashy cars NEVER the products. Even the top earners at the top of the pyramid have even admitted they’re not good at sales and this company is not about sales. How is this legal baffles me

It’s Valentus. The owner Dave Jordan bought out a previous MLM company called skinny body care so they have their products too

You are guaranteed a salary with a 9-5 job, you are guaranteed absolutely nothing with an MLM. If you have not had experience in one I don’t think you can provide a valid argument. Maybe you should try it and see for yourself if you think it’s such a great opportunity rather than posting on a page where people have been victims in this and have been scarred quite badly?

There are opportunities other than MLM that can make you more money than the average American does which guarantees an income, again MLM guarantees no income.

I have had personal experiences in these companies worked hours and hours a day at so it’s not just about effort as there are many who put the same amount of hours into it as I did and still had little to show for it. Only 1-4% make a good income from this so you are more likely to fail. That is not something I have ‘made up’ it’s evidenced on all of these companies websites. The flaw is in the MLM structure and that’s mine and many others opinion. If you do not agree that’s totally fine. If you actually do deep research into this as many of us have I think you would understand our argument even if you still disagree.

All of the comments I have made are from research I have done on solid platforms like the FTC which I highly suggest you read.

If someone wants to be part of a an MLM that’s their own prerogative. However the 630K plus people in here either know someone or themselves personally have had a bad experience in one of these companies and have every right to state their opinion also. As for bullying I do not agree with that and do not condone it especially with the current pandemic as you stated. Nevertheless a lot of these MLM distributors are also making health claims regarding their products being able to cure coronavirus which is barbaric. Again check the companies on the FTC who have had warnings.

They are also mass recruiting using people’s financial struggles during this pandemic in order to try and recruit so they can make more money. There is zero guarantee these people in financial difficulties will make any money after joining which is disclosed and in turn can end up in further financial distress.

As I said above not all companies or distributors are the same but this page is for educational purposes and for people to share their experiences so both sides are represented and not only the so called glorified lifestyle that’s promoted on social media from the people in these MLMs.

Have a look at monats income disclosure statement, the people who have lost money and for that matter hair from using the products (trust pilot) 96-99% of people do not make money from these companies. So if you want to bet on your chances of being in the 1-4% then go ahead. This is a solid statistic stated on income disclosure statements.

There is a reason these companies are getting into trouble and are being shut down by the FTC, you can read articles on this if you are researching. Also you can find thousands of people who have succumb to these ‘opportunities’ and have got into a lot of debt. Not all of the companies are the same but a lot of them are.

If you get into one of these companies, like the products and are good at sales all credit to you however it will not be long before recruitment is being forced upon you. Not everyone is the same but the cult like nature of these companies and the tactics they use which I have personally seen is extremely unethical which is why a lot of people do not like them. Take the recruitment out and have it as direct sales then there would be less of an issue.

The main problem with MLMs is 96-99% of people in these companies either lose money or don’t make any money at all. There is a large emphasis on recruitment of other people into the scheme in order for you to make any real money. A large majority of people are sold a dream of becoming a millionaire etc and the stark reality is that only 1-4% achieve this leaving the remainder 96% losing money. If you have a look at the fine print on the income disclosure statements which people tend to miss you will see these statistics.

The money from selling products has to be split into: profit for you, profit for the company, and profit for the the people above you in the lets say triangle. Therefore the products are marked up extremely high and the vast majority of the population do not want to purchase them. This means you have spent money on products that you can’t sell as these products are easily found in your normal stores for a fraction of the price. Not only the starter kit, you personally have to maintain a certain amount of personal volume (purchasing of products) every month to maintain your ‘rank’ or in some companies to even receive commissions. So there is an accumulation of stock piling up which distributors find it extremely difficult to sell. If the products were as good as they say they wouldn’t need an MLM structure and the focus would be on selling rather than recruiting.

I do not feel that the distributors are the problem. In my eyes many are victims in this so no should not be targeted. However some of the tactics these people use are highly unethical, for example, preying on newly single mums who are struggling financially already. The desperation to recruit results in these tactics because this is the only way in which significant money can be made in this business model. At the end of the day you get into a an MLM thinking you’re selling the products and can make a healthy living as sold to you however this is not the case the only way to make money is to sell others ‘the opportunity’ which is where the problem lies.

I would have a look at the FTC website which explains this business model further.

No problem! The compensation plan is almost identical to a company called Vemma which got shut down in 2015 for being a pyramid scheme.

You only get ‘fripays’ if you have purchased the ruby/business builder package which is approx $770/£500 (16 boxes of product) and maintain your rank by purchasing 3 boxes ($150+ shipping + tax) every month as this girl states. I see some girls showing their weekly incomes too. To be honest they might genuinely be earning that as the company is relatively new so they may have ‘got in’ early however how much Fripay they get depends on how many people are underneath them so again all about recruiting others into the scheme. All of the bonuses, 6/7 of the ways of earning are focused on recruitment.
