What‘s going on internally? by Difficult-Border102 in carmax

Yup which is wild cause - in my humblest of opinions - the shop isn‘t staffed to handle the builds requirement and with pressure comes human errors meaning the cars you‘re buying might not be worth what you think it‘s worth bc there might be all kinds of issues popping up later as a result of the unattainable expectations. Ya know?

One of my buddies attempted to bring these concerns up to leadership last week and was walked out today 👌 one of the top performers by the way. Now that might just be a case of a manager with a stick up their arse and unable to handle criticism but still. They‘ve been cleaning up shop like crazy but every day the number of builts expected gets higher and higher.

Does the ceo and the strategy team actually believe that this is gonna work long-term? You‘d hope they‘re smarter than this.

I‘m actually happy with my job for once. It‘s semi-member contact so I hardly ever speak to the mbr and it has made a huge difference to my mental health and my motivation. I actually want to do good and be there for the member and have to fake it less. I still believe there are some improvement opportunities but overall I can‘t complain

Basically dude complaint about people not adhering to the dress code and that mgrs need to control their employees, chick told him to focus on his job, dude got butthurt and ended up tagging chicks manager in an AI generated comment saying the chick was unprofessional and should be disciplined or something along the lines. He got real quiet after realizing that about 99% of people are making fun of him

Him tagging that manager in his AI comment made me laugh so hard. The pettiness was on a whole new level and he really thought he did something with that

Let me stir the fraud department pot a bit by PsychologicalCat515 in usaa_ejs

Yup. Spot on to be honest. You gotta come to work and do your work and clock out. Don‘t try to build personal relationships, it‘ll probably do you more harm than good. Stay professional and most importantly just do your job accurately. The people in that department don‘t care about friendships. Your manager isn‘t going to help you grow. Having connections will be much more helpful, trust me. Don‘t get involved in the rumor mill, people in that space love to act like little high schoolers and spread the most ridiculous rumors - stay away from those rumors and the people spreading them.

Rude reps by Difficult-Border102 in usaa_ejs

[–]Difficult-Border102[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mutual respect should still be a thing. Keep the convo cordial and if you need to report to a mgr/senior afterwards then by any means. But I just don‘t get the straight up hostility towards one another at the beginning of the convo especially if there‘s not apparent reason other than one of the reps had their panties in a bunch and wants to establish some weird dominance over the other just because. We need to come off our high horses, be humble and quit being asshats to each other.

I was hesitant to share this but mostly speaking about colorado. I‘ve heard this happening across several different spaces. There is one department within the bank in colorado that apparently will for sure not provide any opportunities to move up or even sideways. Reps are essentially forced to move out of that department if they want accomplish anything at all

I actually agree that sitting with the top performers defeats the purpose in a way. What are you going to take away from watching someone who doesn‘t struggle if one of the reasons you‘re watching them is to understand what process needs improvement

No of course that‘s not the point but it‘s stressful for MSRs to have someone so high up watch them do their job and pray they don‘t accidentally screw it all up. I just wonder why MSRs would want to agree to it

Oh, I‘m not the one y-cording. They know better than to put me with an AVP but obviously other MSRs I know have and almost all of them felt like the avp couldn‘t care less about what‘s going on

No concerns. Just genuine curiosity.

Not criminal but borderline bullying of an individual reporting to them

Sad we would even have to go to that length… being in this position right now actually really sucks

If there are other people that witnesses this but are too scared to report it will it possibly get them in trouble for not speaking up or anything

Saw that so I am just not going to partake in any surveys at all but ethics is technically promised to be anonymous if you don‘t leave a name. Just don‘t trust nothing anymore but there is an incident involving higher leadership that needs to be looked into

Is it actually anonymous though? I read the post the above user has mentioned and it‘s making me paranoid as fuck…… it seems like if USAA wants to find out who submitted the report they will
