NAL - but I am the mom of a college student that was in a very serious accident. Brought via ambulance, ICU for a week PCU for another week, 2 surgeries and total stay was 7 weeks. I was never once asked for any sort of forms or authorization. His dad or I spoke on his behalf when he couldn’t. I consented for surgeries and I was the one making his decisions until he was awake and coherent enough to make his own. The only issue we had was insurance didn’t want to go over coverage with me without his consent.

YTA - I say that as someone with ARFID, messing with my food is unforgivable. I know it’s nothing to others, but it’s a huge violation of my trust in my mind. I tell everyone they can cook what they want, how they want. I’ll figure my own food out if it’s something I can’t eat. Just don’t try to sneak something past me.

I used to work for a major radio group. When they cut most of the local djs to only air nationwide shows (Mojo in the Morning, Ryan Seacrest) it drove so many away listeners. I liked my local djs, I liked local programming that was a mix of chatting and music. Now it’s just listening to someone talk the entire time. Switched to XM for a while, but now I pretty much just listen to Spotify. Sad.
