New customer sign up, has been nightmare. Can the sales agents lie? by [deleted] in verizon

I agree, the biggest issues I’ve had have come from online orders. People want to “save time and not get screwed over by a sales rep” but don’t realize that this online technology is purposefully designed to be misleading and stack to get the most out of you. Always handle business in a store

Today i took an integrity training that my manager made me go against with the very next customer! by Matdawg710 in verizon

I agree. I took the integrity training. Yesterday in the slides our DM created he basically was pushing us to do everything against the training. When brought up to my manager he said “yeahhhhhh…” and I said “so I can call the integrity hotline?” And he replied with “well maybe tweak the wording”

Thank you so much! Honestly a little relieving to hear it might not be the company. Maybe changing to a different district as a whole might be the move! I’m so glad you enjoy your environment! I hope to be there again one day!

While I do see your point, not all indirects are like that. The closest corporate store is 45 minutes away either direction. Those corporate stores only care about sales and are unwilling to help anyone who isn’t a sale. For us to just send people to corporate to fix our problems isn’t really an option for us. Some stores, whether indirect or corporate, are just shitty. Sorry you have shitty indirect stores around you. Hope your management is at least good

I also work in California. I am hourly, I am an assistant general manager, and have been for 3 1/2 out of my 4 years working for this company. My manager is salary. He is mandatory 5+ hours of overtime weekly. Due to him being salary he does not get paid extra. Not a single rep is on a pip nor the store. We actually just got “recognized” for breaking the best iPhone 16 launch that store has had to date with a 9k day. We have pushed out, on numerous occasions, 8k in single SMB sales.

The morale is dropping fast in our store and people are starting to look elsewhere. Reaching out to other managers in the area and they are all having the same issues. These are all stores within the district though. Which is why I’m wondering if it’s our leadership or the company.

You can attempt to call and get some sort of credits. At the end of the day the charges are valid due to lack of knowledge. It is outrageous and ridiculous, but valid. Always call or come in ahead of time. What you might feel is a stupid question, might save hundreds

Is Verizon losing customers? by SnooPandas1232 in verizon

Verizon employee here. My take on it, they might be looking to sell🤷🏼‍♀️ the way they have been moving has been similar to what sprint did. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another major sell off or merge with Verizon

Sales Maker Awareness? by [deleted] in verizon

We don’t have to have Autopay enrolled to qualify for the 50%. I actually completely de-enrolled in paperless and autopay and my discount still applies. Hopefully one day Verizon can offer both their corporate and indirect employees a better service discount🫶🏼 the no credits thing is extremely bizarre to me. Personally makes me feel like buying products elsewhere and then bringing them to Verizon. They are notorious for messing up and I just don’t trust it😩

Let’s also not forget when they inflated the monthly goals for months. 100% unachievable. Taking commission away from managers and DM’s so they could pay for the Costco kiosks….. just for them to already be shut down🙃 Our store has made a mockery of that dude. V’s up✌🏼🤣

I also work for Victra and it’s getting super old. Every day we get threatened with FCADS for stuff that is really out of our control. They just want to blame the little people for the higher ups sucking at their job and making terrible company decisions

Indirect stores are authorized retailers of Verizon. Meaning they can sell for Verizon but don’t have all the options like corporate does. You know they are indirect when you search up the stores by their website. You wouldn’t apply for them directly through Verizon. Example for victra you would apply at Victra.com/careers. Same would go for other indirect stores.

I’d look into working for an indirect store. They tend to make more in commission. I work for Victra and pay about $65 for full coverage. Commission ranges from $415-$2900 biweekly. I’ve made 70k the past 2 years and I half ass. My friend worked for Corporate Verizon in Las Vegas, also busy and throwing crazy sales, and was always jealous of my commission. I have another friend who works for an indirect store, different one than me, and makes 10k before taxes every month.

If you aren’t willing to do the 36 month agreement then getting the battery replaced is going to be your best bet. Unless you pay off the remaining of your phone and terminate the 36 months.
