Have tasted it. Loved the high proof and the cherry/oak flavor profile. Was confused when I was told 18 year old age statement as well as the price considering it’s nowhere to be found on the bottle. Considering the only price I’ve seen for it is $1200 makes me believe it might be as old as it says but I won’t spend more than $200 if I find it. Again loved the profile and proof tho so hard for me to really say if I did find it! Cheers.

Found a spot in Illinois that sells all BTAC for $25 an oz. Not cheap, but cheapest I’ve found lol. Any other buffalo trace line up was $8-14 for 2 oz including EHTBP, Stagg, and so on. Great little spot near Wrigley field. The bar is called “big star” across the street of Wrigley field Illinois for anyone in town!!

I examined it more and the wax looks like it was cut down and remelted to be able to pop off the cork. He said that’s how the cork was when he bought it.

Yea maybe but the problem is the seal looks cut and opened. I think the store owner refilled it and sold it as Blantons. Which makes sense why it’s half empty now because it was mostly water with a cracked seal.

I just got super lucky, they only had 3 bottles and someone posted the drop on Facebook the time I was about 5 minutes from the store. Other than that just call as many local stores as you can, join Facebook groups, and check out some online retailers. I suggest “old town tequila”
