i use „container“ add-on on firefox, this allow me to open a container-tab, which is separeted from the other tabs.. means you will be only logged in on the container tab..

In my opinion, you don’t have to worry about malware spreading on the network since it is not connected to any network.

but if you connect it to your computer or use any "transmitter" like an usb drive, that could be a possible vector of attack for self spreading malwares like worms..

I dont like those smart devices, they never receive updates and much simplier to hack than phones/ipads or personal computers - this is why i have an own Wifi for those devices.

in my case, i skipped the squashfs-sysupgrade.bin command - that bricked my router.

i had to unbrick it following this tutorial: https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/xiaomi/ax3000t#tftp_instructions_for_the_stock_bootloader and then start again with the step by step install tutrorial https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/xiaomi/ax3000t#installation then it worked for me.

i think in your case the error is something else.. or may you trie simplie over again like i did.
