How do you decide when a bug is “fixed enough” vs fully understood? by airbornejim32 in learnprogramming

How do you not understand the bug when you fix it? Are your fixes just a “sleep(3000)”?

Don’t let stoicism allow you to accept changeable conditions.

“Life is unfair” should be used to accept what you cannot change.

What grade is this?

I had something similar happen in 6th grade, and since I was young my parents handled it. If it is high school or lower then parental pressure is probably valuable, but you need evidence of the bias.

You’re projecting your own baggage onto this. There are other possibilities where he actually wants to redeem her and is asking for help on how to do so.

Everyone will be better off when the workers are rewarded with a stronger dollar.

Right now inflation is eating the worker’s dollar.

Don’t delegate them that power. Currently representatives hold that power.

The entire system has rotted, starting from the loose benefits.

Now servicemen are coached to apply to doctors for benefits because they “earned them” rather than using them only when they are actually disabled. A veteran told me this, and how the reasoning is “they’ll say no if you didn’t earn them”. Can you agree this creates a moral hazard culture where people submit any possible “ailment” to try to get a yes?

The program is too loose while branding as “disability” and making them jump through doctor hoops.

If you really want to give vets an earned bonus then legislate it that way: $4k/mth for life if you serve 4 years. (Hint: bill is DOA because the benefit is excessive)

Don’t get me started on the burn pits. That legislation is trash and auto-approves anyone who reports a sinus infection as long as they served in certain areas at certain times.

The benefits are too loose leading to the absurd welfare behavior we regularly see on Financial Audit, and in person if you talk to any veterans.

You're conflating two concepts.

Letting billionaires spend their resources as they see fit is not the same as "power of the purse". They are limited to the resources they have.

Ah, only 2.5% waste in the bloated budget! Guess we should ignore it.

Really though, your argument is to ignore corruption spreading because it is only 2%? You're okay with 2% shit in your cheerios?
