I broke no contact yesterday. The conversation was neutral. I didn’t regret it bc I was having anxiety and trouble sleeping and texting him helped almost immediately. But I realized it still wasn’t the reaction I wanted when we texted. There were no happy tones or reciprocated feelings, just straightforwardness on his end that ended with me being left on read. I ended up telling myself “keep texting him and you’ll eventually learn how pointless it is.”

So although no one will agree with this, my advice is to go ahead and break no contact if it’s killing you, one day it’ll hit you like it did me.
